It is hard to explain what a wonderful experience we had at the estate. Our nephew and his bride celebrated their wedding at the estate. My husband and I chose to spend a short holiday there at the same time. Our arrival there on Thursday was well coordinated by the owners and so relaxed as if we had come home. It was done very informal, but still professional, which I admire about such places. Our room was spacious enough and the details in the room were as pleasant as if I had done them on my own. From the slippers to the handkerchiefs and extra pillows and blankets if needed to the coffee maker and wine in the fridge - all was well thought through by the owners. We spent a hot Friday by the pool, where the nature is exquisite and had a lovely dinner in the evening with the first couple, who came ahead to the wedding. Saturday was D day. The bride and groom had everything under control and their closest friends and cousins helped preparing the hall. We took care of the arriving guests by the pool and the staff quietly prepared the surroundings of the pool for the first courses after the wedding ceremony. The scenery for the wedding itself was perfect, the community representatives did their job well and were there on time and the feast began in a calm, but delightful manner, with all the toasts and food and drinks just appearing out of nowhere. After the pool event we moved into the estate's hall and had a lovely dinner, dancing and short games. The hall can accept around 50 people, maybe a bit more. But there was enough room to dance and mingle and not bump into people. The event finished at 2.a.m., which is just right, and our cosy rooms were awainting us. In the morning we had brunch with everyone who stayed overnight and couldn't depart because of the lovely atmosphere. The younger ones stayed at the pool, where as the odler guests stayed in the shade of the trees. |CONGRATULATIONS to the owners and their staff for preparing such a marvellous event and also for making us feel at home. Very nice room (Room nr.2), equipped with style. Enough space. Fantastic panorama view from the room/balcony. We enjoyed sauna/wellness in the evening. (Book in advance to reserve timeslot!)

Very nice outdoor pool with lounge spaces for sunbathing (and again, panorama view). I only wish we had one more day, so we could relax/enjoy by the pool.

Owners were very flexible and very simply provided EV plug for electric car charging. So the car was charged by the morning.

You can buy local wine at recepti in as well (several sorts, nice bottles).

I only wish to have stayed another day, to have more time to enjoy...

Izredno prijetna lokacija za poročni obred. Dean je korektno razložil vse kako in kaj v naprej, planning je potekal brez težav in ponujena je bila tudi pomoč pri trnasportu zadev iz Ljubljane na lokacijo. Obračunano korektno in do evra natančno, nobenih pripomb - celo šli so nam na roko glede predčasnega prihoda in nam niso obračunali tistih dodatnih 20 minut. Hrana dobra, ustrezna količina. Glede glasbe do 2. ure - vem da smo bili o tem zbrifirani v naprej, ampak osebno bi si želel dovoljenja za glasbo vsaj za kakšno uro ali dve več, ravno ko se je vse "razcvetelo", smo morali ugasniti - razumem sicer politiko delovanja in da je to verjetno edini način da se ljudje do neke "normalne" ure pospravijo v sobe/domov - kot rečeno, o tem smo bili seznanjeni v naprej in tako pač je, nimamo kaj. Priporočal pa bi vgradnjo kakšne klimatske naprave na teraso (ali pa uporabo le-te, če postoji), ker je bila notri po tem ko so bila okna zaprta in se je začelo plesati, savna - razumem da morajo biti šipe zaprte zaradi hrupa, ampak potem mora tudi ventilacija nekako delovati. Osebje overall ok, morda me je osebno malo zmotilo da se niso malo bolj angažirali v dogodek, z veseljem bi recimo z Deanom kakšnega nazdravil, ampak mi je osebno delovalo bolj v smislu da čakajo da vse skupaj mine in da se pospravimo v sobe, sploh ko je šla ura enkrat preko druge - razumem, verjetno je bila to 20. naporna sobota v tej sezoni in imajo vsega že čez glavo, sem pa glede tega iz drugih gostišč vajen drugače, več angažiranosti in tistega občutka da je gost na prvem mestu, konstantnega čekiranja "ali vse štima", ali je česa na mizah zmanjkalo itd. Torej kar se osebja tiče, če je bila pred-priprava/logistika pred samo poroko 5/5, bi njihovo angažiranost med samim dogodkom ocenil nekje 3/5. Glede sob - 4-zvezdične BP, lepe, čiste. 3-zvezdične (spodnji štuk) pa bolj CŠOD nivo, nekje so se ukvarjali z vrati, drugje z nedelujočimi sefi, v tretji so bili sršeni, itd - ampak za prespati v opitem stanju - OK.
