Wonderful place. The staff are the very salt of humanity, and the location is God's own country. The camping is cheap yet perfect: soft terraced ground, not unlit but you can see the stars clearly (seven sisters). And the views are epic, particularly at sunset. The facilities are rustic but clean, and are worth well beyond the price. I would recommend it especially for non-motorised camping, although caravans RVs etc seem to manage fine enough with hedges and shady trees. They operate some apartments too. The nights are silent. It is a farm also, with apiary and home distillery, it is possible to eat a meal there solely from the local produce, but this is a little pricey. They offer tastings and excursions (to see bears) in addition. Wanted to stay many nights, but the road beckoned. It is a lovely place, tranquil and far from the maddening crowds of Postojna and Ljubljana. Real Slovenia and real Slovene hospitality. I loved it!
NB If you do not like dogs, maybe not camp here. They are quiet and friendly,...
Read moreThe people are so humble & the location is great, a quiet little village with some beautiful mountains behind it. We could place our tent anywhere we wanted on their terrain and there were a lot of great spots! Everyone in the family helps out, the son makes his own liquor and we were welcome to taste some ;). The honey liquor was definitely my favourite. Also the daughter gave us a great hiking route up the mountain to this little church. It was a tough hike, but we were so happy when there was an old man in the church happy to help us out with a nice drink. Overall had a great time and would definitely come...

Less good, the Toilets have 0 privacy, you hear everything from everyone. That is probably not easy to change. It gets in the middle of the summer really warm during the day but the nights are really cold, take...
