Grad Prestranek — Hotel in Postojna

Loved it here. Just a short drive from Postojna. You get to experience and be treated like a king.

It is build on a huge estate where there is an old catle which they are renovating right now. It should turn to an luxury hotel in the next years. On the estate right now they raise islandic horses and black angus cattle. You can get rides with horses as well.

The food was amazing (look at pictures) We were being spoilt with 4 course menus and everything was extreamly delicious and well prepared. Home made food prepared with extreme care. The staff are super friendly as well.

If you want quirky accommodation for visiting Postojna bear in mind that the train service doesn't run and the restaurant is closed on Slovenian holidays! We worked around but don't get caught out (or just drive).
