Our stay at the Ursa hotel during last weekend's motorcycle tour around the stunning Logar Valley in Slovenia, was exceptional. While the location is a fairy tale come to life, it was the incredible hospitality that truly set this place apart. The hostess, Mojca, has a gift for making guests feel genuinely welcome and cared for. Her attention to detail is something you will rarely encountered. Coming back after a long day of riding to find a hand-written note and a surprise cold beer waiting in the fridge is the kind of thoughtful gesture that makes a stay unforgettable. Talking about food, it was incredible. Dinner after a hard day's ride, was an amazing selection of different types of meat and vegetables. I dare you to eat everything what they serve you. Next morning breakfast was a rich feast with something for everyone: fresh smoothies, multiple juices, a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, eggs, sausages, croissants and bread, and of course, great coffee. If you could wish for it, it was there, and all that with a million dollar view. The location is breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful, with direct views of the grandiose mountains. They even have an old story about a strange shape forest that the devil created to punish some local inhabitants. The icing on the cake, a charming lake just a three-minute walk away, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. For those of us traveling with motorcycles, the ample and convenient parking was a huge plus. We couldn't have asked for a better place to rest and recharge. It is the perfect base for a bike tour, and we left knowing that we will be back for sure. Highly, highly recommended it!! But don´t take my word for it, take a look at the pics 😉

Words can't express how welcoming the owner is. She brought us welcome drinks (homemade mango and lemon juice!) and a snack right after we arrived after cycling into town. And breakfast the next day was one of the highlights of our trip: a real feast (consider having a very light dinner the night before). The rooms were comfortable, quiet, and clean, if a bit small. There is also a common area with a kitchen, laundry machine, dishwasher and more.

We spent night in Ursa and everything was more than expected. Rooms are clean, lately renovated and cozy. We slept like babies! Dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. And on top of all this was warm, friendly service. We highly recommend both accomodation and food!

Very unhelpful staff. The reservation was canceled due to a delay of 30 minutes.

Before arriving, we checked if they had a free table for 4. They said that there was a table free, but that there was a problem with parking and that it was occupied and they didn't know if there would be any free. Upon arrival, one parking space had just become available. We were early, so we decided to go for a quick swim in the nearby lake. (We were sweaty from the morning's hike in the mountains.) When we announced that we had already arrived and that we would be seated in 30 minutes, they refused to serve us because we did not sit down immediately, despite the prior...

Pizza is very average, old-school with a very mediocre dough, the way they prepared it in Slovenia in 90s, which doesn’t mean it’s bad, just not above average. |The location is great and maybe that’s the reason to attract many guests. Service is so-so, not rude at all but certainly not very kind or warm.|All in all, very average experience and expected a little bit more of everything mentioned.|And yea, stating “domestic ham” on meni and receiving clearly typical industrial ham is not the way to cheat. It’s easy to notice...
