Houston Resort — Hotel in Radovljica

Food is very delicious and kitchen does the job well although it did take its time and itbwas not crowded at all. We had weekend lunch menu which was not so expensive and the mushroom soup is something they can be proud of. Also main course of two different meat steaks each on own style made it a great choice. The vegetables were nicely crunchy and very tastey. I must say the ice tea is home made and well worth a try. Very refreshing and sweet.

Service is why i deducted one star. I must say we were visiting post covid-19 time and service is the one with most strange changes. However, it was not a complicated order for 7 people with only one ingredient ommission (meat from salad) and they messed it up. Very convenient location for visiting Lake Bled, Postonja Cave, and Predjama Castle by car. Beautiful, peaceful summer morning breakfast views on the patio beside a serene river were a lovely way to start the day! Supernice hotel with extremly helpful personal, owner. The breakfast is very good. When we arrived the owner took time with us and told us about the things to do around the area. He also wrote out a personalized paper of these things. The surroundings are lovely, good for biking, walking and close to Bled, and the nationalpark without the hefty pricetag, trafficjams and crowds of people Far better than the 7,2 rating they have on Booking.
