Un hotel che occhieggia alle famiglie ma non ha le basi . . PRO: Dimensioni della camera, parcheggio interno alla struttura CONTRO: Il punto è questo: il contesto è ameno, tranquillo, la struttura ha un parcheggio in loco gratuito di fronte alla hall, anche un maneggio per deliziare i piccoli ospiti con la presenza dei cavalli... però pero: fatti i conti con la facciata, scopri che il retro a tutto si presta fuorché a un benvenuto per famiglie. Il nostro è stato forse(spero!) un caso particolare: camera con culla prenotata 4 mesi fa, e in fase di check-in davanti alla faccia mi dicono che la culla non è più disponibile "tutte le culle che avevamo sono state date" ... 'bene'._. Ma ch'incomincia è a metà dell'opera, perciò la receptionist (unica creatura dello staff realmente disponibile) si mette in contatto con il gestore dell'hotel che non vuole metterci a disposizione la culla - in un primo momento. Dopo reiterata indignazione da parte nostra alla fine 'sta benedetta culla arriva, ma che sforzo! Il mattino seguente a colazione ok il seggiolone, ma anche quelli li hanno contati e comunque tutti privi di fascetta di sicurezza e/o regolazione dello stesso, in pratica inutile per la nostra piccina. Anche questo un altro impedimento che va a inficiare il giudizio finale della recensione. Colazione assolutamente non all'altezza. Ok siamo in Slovenia in un posto pedemontano, non mi aspetto il caffelatte e brioche ma almeno una colazione intercontinentale degna di questa nome e invece... tutta roba confezionata e/o congelata. La posizione non è scomodissima - in pochi minuti di auto sei a Bled. Però ecco: non sei nemmeno fronte lago. Quindi: da un hotel decentrato, che occhieggia così tanto alle famiglie con questi servizi collaterali, mi aspetterei più praticità, funzionalità, e in ultimo: SERIETA', sulle cose che realmente contano.

PROS: Room size, parking inside the structure CONS: The point is this: the context is pleasant, quiet, the structure has free on-site parking in front of the hall, also a riding school to delight the little guests with the presence of horses... but however: deal with the facade , you discover that it's anything but a family-friendly welcome-stay. Ours was perhaps (I hope!) a special case: room with crib booked 4 months ago, and during check-in they straight up tell me that the crib is no longer available "all the cribs we had have been given away" ... 'Well'._. But it's halfway done, so the receptionist (the only member of the staff who is really available) gets in touch with the hotel manager who doesn't want to make the crib available to us - at first. After repeated indignation on our part, this blessed cradle finally arrives, but what an effort! The following morning at breakfast the high chair was ok, but they also counted those and in any case all without safety straps and/or adjustments of the same, practically useless for our little one. This is also another impediment that affects the final judgment of the review. Breakfast absolutely not up to par. Ok we are in Slovenia in a place in the foothills, I don't expect coffee with milk and croissants but at least an intercontinental breakfast worthy of the name and instead... all packaged and/or frozen stuff. The location is not very inconvenient - in a few minutes by car you are in Bled. But here's the thing: you're not even on the lake front. So: from a decentralized hotel, which looks so much at families with these collateral services, I would expect more practicality, functionality, and lastly: SERIOUSNESS, on the things that...

I recently returned from a fly fishing trip to Slovenia. A friend drove down from Germany to join me and found a room at Pension Torok on my recommendation. |The accommodations were extremely clean and well suited to a week's stay. |Breakfasts were wonderful, the bar available later in the day and the dining room made for a nice place to savor the pizza which reception ordered for us.|Laundry was done well, same day, to enable packing for my return. |The staff went out of their way to be accommodating. English was no problem. Friendly, helpful, thoroughly delightful. |I can't imagine a nicer place. Convenient to my guide, quiet at night....

Friendly and warming staff. Room was clean and fresh linen. Air cooling and heating available in rooms luckily as there are stables next door so a strong smell of horses/manure. Room was made up while we were gone. Breakfast was good. Selection of cold meats and cheese, scrambled eggs and sausage. Arrangement of multiple breads and some sweets. 3 different cereals and variety of yogurt. Help yourself to automatic coffee machine. I would recommend staying here. Perfect location with short drive approx 10mins to Lake Bled. Cheap pizzeria and spaghetteria nearby aswell as Hofer and Lidl. I recommend staying here for a...
