Hotel Leonardo — Hotel in Slovenska Bistrica

We, four member family, have spent there one night. We made reservation via booking.com at 9PM. Confirmation arrived pretty fast in couple minutes. We were also phoned from the hotel about our arrival. We arrived to the hotel at 11 PM. |Hotel is located just couple minutes drive from highway with good signage. |||At this time reception was already closed, but we received Pin from safety box and got our keys immediately. Room was clean and tidy and included air condition. Although the hotel is located quite close to the roundabout, petrol station and Hofer supermarket, we did not hear any noise. || Breakfast is OK. Cereals, yoghurts, hot sausage and eggs, water melon, solid selection of pastry etc. Only downside is coffee and “chemical” orange juice. ||I must also notice kind staff we have met there. ||Given the price we have paid, the hotel is great base for the overnight stay and we can fully recommend...

We went for a bussines lunch a la carte,.some of us took a daily lunchbreak meal. Took us whole three hours. So service speed is 1/5. Food: I ate two different melas: mine, and I tasted a friends backed pork ribs. Both tasted bad, wierd and eas not delicous at all. So food:2/5. The soup, a funghi soup had more potatoes and carrots than funfhis. Actually the only good thing was a mixed season salad. So food 2/5.

I just noticed I was there six Years ago, and gave them 3/5 stars. It didn't improve at all.

Why was I there at all? Coz the company organized a bussines lunch there. Is probably the best restaurant in Slovenska Bistrica, but is not good by any means.

Much better eas LaRmonia, 1km away, but it saddly closed in corona lockdowns and is not working any more.

So: avoid if you can. If you must eat in Bistrica, it is probably better then restaurant ''Fejst tejst'' but still, both are...

Very nice hotel with private and free parking and super breakfast . Room (202) clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need. The lady at the reception very polite and fluent in English. The restaurant looks good and tasty, unfortunately, due to the waiter's tired work, we could not take advantage despite the fact that we were informed of this possibility (we placed our order 1h before the restaurant closed), and we wanted to eat ONLY dessert. Mr. waiter with a sour face and pressing told us to order quickly already when checking in at the reception (standing) before we were seated in the restaurant. He was so rude that we gave up.... Mr. waiter ! More patience and courtesy in this profession, or it's time to change your occupation to herding goats or folding pens-here you won't have to get tired of working with people. To...
