We traveled by motorbike from the UK, through France, Germany, Austria and into Slovenia. Louise and Roger were ready for our arrival and very welcoming. The guest house is extremely well appointed with a fantastic outdoor space for entertaining and the most amazing views from the decked terrace. There was secure parking for our bikes which is always a bonus. ||Breakfast was good with a nice choice to suit all tastes ( including a gluten free option). Louise also provided some evening meals which were to die for and there is a bbq available too. ||Bikes are available for hire should you decide to fly out rather than ride and both Roger and Louise are great guides and know the area very well. They are more than happy to take you out on organised routes with lovely places to stop for photo opportunities and lunches. ||I am more than happy to recommend this lovely destination and I will certainly be returning ||Slovenia has proven to be a wonderful surprise - and this is the best bike trip into Europe I...

After seeing this destination on social media, we had to book it to see if it was real!||||From the moment we landed our host and tour guide Roger was exceptionally professional and Knowledgable of the area. We were briefed on the bikes, the do’s, don’ts and to have a good time! The roads, scenery and local people just keep on giving, it would be hard not to enjoy yourself here as there is definitely something for everyone. ||||The guest house itself is beautifully presented with views to die for. Each and every room has plenty of character and space to relax. A great continental breakfast prepared each morning was a perfect start to the day. The outdoor space is also fantastic, a decked area reaching out into the valley below was the idyllic spot for a evening drink to unwind after a great day of touring.||||My opening sentence was “seeing is believing “! This guest house being run by Roger & Louise is a hidden gem, it’s now up to you all to book it to see for yourself and...

My 2 night stay at Hisa Brdo was a last minute plan but I am so glad I got the opportunity to stay here. It is a super property and Roger and Louise who own this guest house are the most perfect of hosts. Personable, kind and helpful, they have a good knowledge of the area so can point you in the right direction for places to go and see and will go out of their way to help - they are also extremely sociable which worked very well for me!

Their home is immaculate and has had a lot of time and effort spent on it (mainly by Roger) and the results are clear to see. It's the kind of home you wish WAS your home, it's absolutely fabulous and a pleasure to spend time at, either relaxing on the decking or just chilling out in the very comfortable lounge. Their easy-going manner made the whole stay absolutely perfect for me and I wouldn't hesitate to either recommend staying there or making a return visit. Well done Roger and...

We came in very late after hiking for ten hours! Such friendly hosts! Louise and Roger were the nicest. I had rolled my ankle and they offered me homemade arnica and paracetamol to help the swelling while I slept and prepared for the following day. It is a beautiful property and we were given a full breakfast of eggs, yogurt, cereals, fruit, coffee and juice. We actually ended up needing to go to hospital the following day and Roger even gave us a ride into town. Above and beyond hospitality. We felt very cared for, as if we had known them for years. (Attached are photos of the view from the terrace)

A really great place to stay. Roger and Louise are welcoming, friendly with plenty of local knowledge and tips. Room was superb with the bonus of the evening sun on the balcony. Lovely home made (we had our evening meal and breakfast). Take a trip down to the river (keep your hiking boots on) for a wonderful après-hike dip.
