Hotel Zlata Ribica — Hotel in Tolmin

Sono ormai due anni che frequento l'hotel per le gite di pesca a mosca nei magnifici fiumi e torrenti della zona.||Matej, Vesna e tutto lo staff sono sempre impeccabili nella loro disponibilità e cortesia. L'hotel è situato sulla sponda sinistra (orografica) del fiume Idrija e sul fronte dell'albergo insiste un ottimo "spot" per gli immancabili "coup de soir" che, nonostante la stanchezza che segue alle giornate passate in torrente, non deve mai mancare.||Le stanze sono ampie e ben rifinite, molto pulite e curate e tutte con bagno e televisione satellitare.||Il fabbricato in generale è di recente ristrutturazione, il che rende anche gli spazi comuni estremamente vivibili e piacevoli. Fantastici gli spazi esterni, dove in piena estate si può trovare il giusto sollievo dalla calura e dalla "fatica" della pesca.||E' presente in tutta la struttura, e l'utilizzo è gratuito, la connessione internet wi-fi.||All'interno è inoltre presente, tra i servizi offerti, un piccolo ma fornito negozio di articoli da pesca, ed all'occorrenza è possibile richiedere di essere accompagnati, nelle giornate di pesca, da un'esperta guida locale. All'esterno del fabbricato sono inoltre presenti lo spogliatoio, con bagno, usufruibile dai pescatori che così non sono costretti a recarsi in camera, ed un locale dove poter lasciare i waders ed i gilet da pesca ad asciugare nella notte, pronti per essere nuovamente indossati per la giornata successiva.||In albergo è possibile acquistare i permessi di pesca, sia per il comprensorio locale che per altre zone. Matej inoltre, da esperto pescatore quale è, è sempre in grado di fornire informazioni riguardo alle tecniche ed alle mosche da utilizzare, e sulle condizioni delle acque dei fiumi.||Tutto il personale, e Matej in particolare, parla correntemente l'italiano, quindi non ci sono problemi per la traduzione.||Ottimo il buffet per la colazione, a richiesta è possibile prenotare i cibi da portare con sè durante le giornate di pesca. Menu serale con pochissime scelte, ma ciò che verrà cucinato per cena viene comunicato dal titolare in persona ad ogni cliente la mattina, ed è quindi possibile, qualora qualcosa non sia di gradimento, chiedere variazioni. La cucina è ottima ma non indimenticabile, ma di certo non è il principale motivo per il quale ci si reca qui.||Eccezionalmente favorevole il rapporto qualità-prezzo, soprattutto usufruendo dei "pacchetti pesca" reclamizzati sul sito della struttura. sono inoltre presenti agevolazioni per i non-pescatori e gli accompagnatori.||La stagione di pesca è ormai conclusa ma... Matej aspettaci, torneremo il prossimo anno, e continueremo a farlo perchè allo Zlata Ribica ci si trova...

A fantastic fishing hotel. I have just spent 5 nights at the Zlata Ribica and can honestly say it is one of the most hospitable places it has been my pleasure to stay at. Matel and his wife are just so welcoming. It's ideal for the fisherman - There's a great drying room for waders; Matej is a font of knowledge about the rivers; dinner officially ends at 9.00pm, but if you want to eat later because you've been out on the river fishing into the evening - no problem - they will keep it warm for you and you can eat when you get back; they issue tickets for all the rivers at the front desk; there's a fishing shop in the hotel; the Idrija flows past the front door and to cap it all, the food is great. If you're looking for somewhere to base yourself during a fishing trip to Slovenia, look no further -...

We stayed for one night during our honeymoon in one of the "tents" (third picture; more like a small cabin) and had a lovely time. On the grounds are beautiful trees, a charming garden, landscaped courtyard, and outdoor lounge looking over a local river. There's also a small pond stocked with at least two huge rainbow trout. They serve both breakfast and dinner, included in the rental price. The owner prepared our eggs and cappuccino/tea to order, and both he and his wife were impeccably friendly and helpful. They steered us to the Gostilna Slap in Idrijca for dinner, and the food was just delicious. To round out the glamorous aspect of camping here, each tent has a clean and relatively spacious private indoor bathroom. We cannot recommend Zlata Ribica more highly, and hope to stay here...
