Penzion Kobala Komar Renata s.p. — Hotel in Tolmin

I have to apologies for not writing a review sooner, as this was a wonderful holiday we experienced at Kobala. As my family know, i'm very keen on my outdoor sports. We've been to the Soca Valley before and had a great active experience holiday with Vamos Travel that pointed us in the right direct for water & land based sporting fun. This time i escaped the children and brought 6 adult friends to enjoy a weekend of hydro speeding, canyoning, mountain biking and hiking. Our host was Renata a lovely lady, and incredible cook. Its hard to see this property as 3 stars, as the food and settings do feel luxury. We all felt spoilt by the quality of service. Vamos took care of all the necessary joining of the dots, as we decided not to self drive and we enjoyed being driven about for a change! We are all Dads (which means we are all taxi drivers for our kids!!). the weather held up until the last day, but that didn't matter, as we were just relaxing. This hotel is excellent, i highly recommend it, thankyou for a cracking stay....

We spent a week here and my family (who can be picky) were 100% satisfied. The standard i would grade as like a quality 4 star hotel, but i’d say the service & food is more like 5 stars. The staff/owners are very warm and helpful. Great family apartments, modern rooms with modern TV's/bathrooms. Huge breakfasts – lots of choice and dinners were simply exceptional. The swimming pool isn’t massive, more like a plunge pool (but didn’t matter to us) and we used the terrace Jacuzzi often. All was booked through Green World Holidays, who hosted and guided and helped with transfers. For my restless teen children, booking this teenage activity holiday was a huge success, and staying at Kobala was a huge part of that! Soca Valley is a dream destination, and somewhere i’d like to return too. Whether looking peace and tranquillity or thrills and spills, Kobala is an excellent pension to base...

Io e mio marito abbiamo prenotato a fine marzo via mail direttamente alla struttura un soggiorno di 2 notti durante le nostre vacanze itineranti in Slovenia ,mandando una caparra con bonifico bancario , la titolare ci ha proposto nella mail la possibilità di cenare da loro al prezzo € ,31 ( sul loro sito tutt ora è indicato 28 € ) senza specificare condizioni particolari..al nostro arrivo intorno alle 1330 del Giorno previsto come da check in dalle ore 13 non abbiamo trovato nessuno ad attenderci.,porta aperto ma nessuno!alla reception c era un biglietto con una chiave ma per un altra coppia,dopo circa mezz ora di attesa fuori abbiamo chiamato il nr indicato nella prenotazione e dopo diversi squilli ci ha risposto una signora che parlava un po' d italiano ma non ricordava affatto la nostra prenotazione,cercando di rimediare ci ha indicato un nr di una stanza e le istruzioni per accedervi dicendo che nel giro di mezz'ora sarebbe arrivato qualcuno.constatato che la camera non aveva l aria condizionata,all arrivo dell' incaricata abbiamo chiesto un cambio di camera ,visto il gran caldo nella valle dell' Isonzo,e ci è stata consegnata dopo un ulteriore attesa di più di mezz ora un altra stanza molto spaziosa e confortevole,abbiamo chiesto la conferma per la cena come da mail di prenotazione e ci è stato detto che avremmo dovuto prenotare entro le 10 del Mattino e che in ogni caso in questo periodo la certezza di avere il cuoco c era solo nel weekend.|Uscendo per cenare abbiamo constatato altresì che le altre coppie presenti nella struttura stavano aspettando di cenare .....|Al nostro ritorno ,considerati i vari disguidi ,abbiamo comunicato la partenza anticipata per il mattino successivo e al momento del pagamento ci sono state addebitate 2 notti ( di cui 1 senza colazione)nonostante fosse evidente che la nostra prenotazione era stata dimenticata ! Con grande disappunto per evitare discussioni abbiamo saldato il conto ,andandocene dopo colazione.Nel nostro viaggio in Slovenia con prenotazioni in 4 località diverse ,non abbiamo MAI riscontrato alcun problema ECCETTO in questo caso!il disguido è stato per noi notevole dovendo rimodulare il nostro viaggio e cercare una notte in più nella nostra ultima tappa già prenotata A Portorose .Io e mio marito viaggiamo spesso e non ci e veramente MAI successo una cosa così...
