Hotel Trojane — Hotel in Upravna Enota Domžale

On our way to Italy, we had a 1 night break at Trojane Hotel. Location is very convenient, very close to the motorway in a nice countryside area, quiet and surrounded by beautiful landscape. The view of the mountains from the balcony is breathtaking.||Unfortunately the hotel is outdated and not very well maintained. Rooms smell very old, furniture is used and abused, I cannot imagine how "clean" it is the carpet. Bathroom is in the same note, tiles have cracks, shower tub is rusted, shower curtain - you better not touch it.||On the corridor it was a bad toilet smell.||We did not want to try breakfast, felt it is not safe. I booked this on expedia as the rates were very good. We stayed over the Christmas holidays. Though this hotel is basic it is clean and the staff are friendly.|There is a free internet machine for anyone to use. |The breakfast was included (even though expedia said it wasn't). It was a standard help yourself buffet style.|The views from the balcony are spectacular. We watched the sun come up on our first morning.|We missed our flight going (on Christmas eve) and had to catch one on Boxing Day. We phoned them on Christmas eve and they were very good - didn't charge for the missed nights.|Overall recommended though you'll probably need your own transport as buses are not that frequent and the station is too...

I can't forget hotel trojane for my life not as a hotel but as an nice experience. This hotel was perfectly matched my expectation of accomodation. People were really kind and friendly like an old friends. Breakfast was fantastic with local healthy food. Parking was easy and close to the room. Surrounding nature was felt like middle of national park. I saw many comets in the sky at night.
