They changed our booking from a double room with a balcony to single without checking or asking first. - the single was nicknamed the cupboard|You couldn't argue it as no one was to be seen for the next three days. ||They then tried to charge us for the double |Room anyway. Then added the vat onto the booking.com price when vat is meant to be included in price. Which we didn't figure out till after leaving as the hubby went and paid instead and unknowingly overpaid. |The man that served him was rude and just wasn't interested in hearing the change of situation. ||Our friends stayed a few days before and got locked out the hotel at 2 am. Couldn't get back in when they rang no one was available to come let them in. Luckily for them they had friends nearby otherwise would've been a night on the doorstep till the staff showed up next afternoon. ||All in all the staff are rude and absent- we didn't see anyone running the hotel side of things once in a three day stay. |Possibly best you don't bother - just book somewhere else and save yourself the hassle. ||It's disappointing we stayed here at Christmas when visiting friends and was fine so recommended it to other friends visiting as it is local to our friends. |They had a less than pleasant stay, and got charged too. ||The rooms are dated but clean, we've always been placed in the same room and the beds in...
