The air conditioning AND bathroom ventilator in the room didn't functioned at all..
I asked them to be charged when I go to the hotel and they charged my card immediately when I did the reservation online (the whole amount).I know this because I received a message from my bank that the charge has been done. We asked to see the hotel manager and they sent the sales manager to talk with us who was rude and ironic.
The room was VERY small. We booked a room for 3 people and when we arrived (late in the evening) and after many hours of travelling , the room we received was so small that we couldn't even walk to go to the toilet... Imagine if there was a fire , we wouldn't catch to get out. The sales manager said that you knew that the room is 23 square metres. I'm really sorry but I am a doctor. I am not an architect to know exactly the square metres and the arrangement of the room . I suppose that when they suggest a room for 3 people it is suitable. We asked them to pay a price difference and give us another, a bigger or an extra room, they said we are fully booked and we can't do anything else for you, If you don't like it you can leave the hotel but in both cases we have kept your money(said the sales manager). However when after 5 minutes I checked through Booking again I noticed that of course there were other bigger rooms and also I could choose which of them I liked to book.
Moreover, the wheels from the extra bed for the 3rd person extended in such a way that it was very dangerous to hurt yourself and lose your nails.
When I reserved the room , I informed them that I have got a dog , when I arrived they told me that they didn't know this and insisted to make me sign that in case there is a problem with the dog (the kind of problem subjective) I will be charged fixed price 250 euro.
The room was not sound-proof and we could hear the couple from the next room..
Also I am a member of the Sheraton chain (SPG) but when I asked them to put into the card/system the points I gained from this stay they told me that they can't do it because I did the reservation through Booking.com and next time I should skip Booking and book directly through...

When I arrived 20 minutes before check-in time, I was told that the room was not ready and that I should wait in the lobby. I waited with my family, understanding that it might be busy since the official check-in time is 3:00 PM. However, by 3:20 PM, I still had not been checked in. When I inquired about it, I was finally checked in, but a staff member who originally assisted me was not around, so I had to explain the situation again to another staff member to ensure that all the necessary forms were filled out.
After all that, when I got to our room, it was not the one I had booked— it was not a business suite room. (As a Titanium Platinum member, I've received free room upgrades before, but this is the first time I've ever been downgraded.) I had to go back down to the lobby and request a change to the room type I had originally booked. Once I was in the correct room, I found that the sofa bed was not even prepared for my family (two adults and two children). I was not expecting anything exceptional, but I do expect a certain level of service. Actually, the only reason I'm not giving a 1-star rating is because of the friendly café staff member who gave me a free drink while I was waiting in the lobby. She didn’t just offer me a drink; she had a way of making people feel good, which was a small but meaningful gesture during a frustrating experience. Service at the Four Pts in Ljubljana far exceeded our expectations; the staff truly goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. In fact, they might have been the most thoughtful and attentive staff of any hotel we have stayed at, and I stay in an SPG hotel every week for work.
Beautiful rooms. We were upgraded to the Executive Suite and it was beautifully done with a gorgeous bedroom, bathroom, and living space
Convenient shuttle to/from the city center only takes 10mins and leaves frequently; the hotel is not in the city itself but with the shuttle, the location is great and in a peaceful place
I am an SPG platinum 100 member so the below service examples are surely atypical, but I think they highlight just how exceptional the staff is at this hotel. Just a few examples of the wonderful service we received: Reimbursed us for the taxi to the hotel from the train station when we missed the hotel shuttle Covered our cab to the train station upon leaving, just as a kind gesture Welcomed us with fresh fruit and lovely desserts (macarons!!) and refreshed them daily Offered us the minibar refreshments gratis Arranged our pickup for our next hotel from the train station in Budapest, totally Arranged a day trip for us to see both the Postojna and Skocjan Caves and the Podjama castle (researched, got offers, planned the route, etc)
