On many occasions over the past 10 years we have stayed at the Gostilna Jersin. We have relatives that live about 10 miles away in Zaplana and the Inn is most convenient.||||We have always been warmly welcomed ,found a very clean and comfortably appointed room and been treated like guests in their home. ||||The inn has now expended to about 20 rooms and is very modern and spacious||the best part of our stay is the flexibility and accommodating attitude of Bohan and his mother and father, the owners. Jasna and her husband have always been very accommodating and their son has fallen in their footsteps as he has assumed the daily responsibilities of the Inn management.||||You will not be disappointed with your newly built rooms, the food or friendliness. I recommend my friends at Gostilna Jersin for your stay in Slovenia.||||note; it is about an hour to Bled and Bohinj and maybe 20 minutes to the caves and about an hour to th Soca river valley. It is a very comfortable center in a quite and friendly town which has good grocery stores and is relaxing to walk||||You will not go wrong with service, price, food, or accommodations.||||||Logatec is about 30 miles from Ljubljana and few miles from Postonija cave and the Soca rover for rafting and a world class museum on WW1 in Kobraind .Karst area is close. A great friendly and safe spot to see...
Read moreI recently stayed at Gostišče Jeršin, and the experience was unusual, to say the least. Throughout my stay, I didn’t see a single other guest – it almost felt like I had the entire hotel to myself, which was strange and somewhat unsettling.||The room was decently clean, but there was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke, which was disappointing. It seemed to hang in the air, even though the room itself looked well-maintained.||Breakfast was quiet… too quiet. I found myself the only one in the small bar, seated directly in front of the bar, with just one staff member around. Fortunately, he was friendly and attentive, adding a positive note to an otherwise odd and empty experience.||In summary, while the staff was kind, the atmosphere and lingering smells were off-putting. It’s not a place I would rush back to without some...
Read moreWe were visiting friends in the Logatec area and needed a family room for a few nights. We contacted Gostice Jersin by email to reserve a family room to sleep 4. Borsin was helpful in responding to our enquiry. Upon arrival we were made to feel very welcome. The family suite of two twin rooms with a bathroom between them, all separated from the corridor by our own door was ideal for us. Breakfast of fresh bread, with a selection of cooked meat, cheese, preserves, pâté, honey and chocolate spread, with great coffee suited us all very well. Borsin was a friendly and welcoming host and ensured that we had all that we needed. It was a shame that we had not arranged to stay longer in the area as he had several suggestions of local sights that we did not have...
