The ASA Residence is the warm, inviting and relaxed house in such a beautiful, peaceful part of the world, really good value, and the hosts are exceptional. The delightfully appointed 18th century cottage has recently been refurbished to include luxury amenities that complement the comfortable and cosy interior full of lovely modern decor. The cottage is situated in a peaceful location, overlooking rolling hills surrounded by nature and also has a private garden and orchard. It is a lovely setting away from the tourist crowds but also within easy access to hotspots and amenities. There are attractions in the local area for all ages and interests. This place is perfect for an escape to the countryside and makes a great base for exploring local towns which have interesting sights to visit and the surrounding countryside offers great outdoors for walking and seeing wildlife All the great info provided before we arrived meant that we could just pull up and make ourselves at home. A really beautiful space with cosy woodburner as well as the unexpected benefit of a hot tub with the most spectacular view right across the Karst District. Andree and Suzana are welcoming, warm and hospitable hosts and very thoughtful, really interesting to talk to. They were around to host us during our stay, but they also respect our privacy and gave us time to ourselves, nothing was too much trouble. They know how to make their guests feel like they are a part of their home, they have the valuable local knowledge, recommendations and tips about the surrounding pubs, restaurants, tours, places to go as well as places to avoid. The food was very tasty, locally sourced and the wine was delicious. Everything had been well thought out, Andree and Suzana really exceeded our expectations of hosts. ASA Residence is the perfect place to get away from it all, to switch off, just listen to all that silence and to recharge ones batteries! The location is a bit of heaven, an amazing 5-star-place, truly relaxing, 10/10 all round with lots to do in the local area and we are looking forward...

I'm a gurmet and a culinary lover and I have to say that if I would have a chance, I would stay at Asa residence forever. Pristine old recipies and eating and cooking in an open kitchen are unforgettable. When I brought the vegetables from the organic garden, I accidentaly ate half of it on the way to the kitchen. They are delicious and supposedly they grow in a stone red eath, full of minerals and rich nutrients. The enviroment at the residence is very peaceful and relaxing. I completely forgot about my everyday problems, I tunred off my phone and enjoyed being in the moment. In the morning, I was not awaken by my phone, but by the sounds of a rooster. We asked the owner politely to clean out the rooms, especially the showers since there was hair and filthy stuff. She was not pleased to hear that and immediately threw us out and to top it she then called to police. After that she wouldn't let us leave the property. She basically switched off the fuses and locked the gate so that we could not drive out. She said that she knows certain people whe will ruin our wedding and she also threatened us with a bomb.
