We have just spent 3 nights at the Orange Apple Guesthouse. We are seasoned travellers both locally and international and I am a very fussy guest with high expectations. As we were in a small town we were not expecting our accommodation to come up to what we are used to in Cape Town BUT wow, was I surprised . Every little detail was thought of. I had called to make a reservation for 2 double rooms and all was explained in great detail, that my quests should check in at the main reception but that the 2 rooms would be at premises down the road and that all the rooms are identical. A month before our departure the holiday venue at Pella cancelled our booking, which resulted in the family gathering moving to Kakamas. I phoned, emailed and sms'ed Diana regarding our deposit of R850, and she assured me the deposit will be paid back.
