List of reasons NOT to use Black Horses for your wedding (or any other event) venue: chalets are not finished properly: kitchenette: no cutlery or crockery, basin installed but no taps and not connected to plumbing/ pipes. No aircon or fans in our chalet. ceiling falling apart, leaks everywhere when it rains venue/hall: leaks everywhere, power outages when it rains (they've got a generator, but it flatlines at times so bathrooms have no lights and not all lights and music can be on at the same time), no aircon with a tin roof without a ceiling. Mismatching chairs, chair cushions, plates. Food: some burnt, the rest underwhelming to say the least. Management: overbooks the venue, so you have to rush to get everything out...

Rooms are spacious and well furnished. Breakfast is okay. Service from kitchen very poor, you have to literally ask for everything, they don't see to it that there are enough cereal/sugar/milk/porridge etc.

Electricity and water is a big problem in this establishment and it doesn't seem like they want to solve the problem because I've stayed at this place on more than 5 separate occasions and the problem of water and electricity is always there. One day there's hot water only, the next there's cold water only, other times there's no water at all. For 8 consecutive days and they did nothing to...

It is absolutely beautiful, it’s quiet which I love and has everything you could ever need. Very large and spacious rooms, massive bathroom with a very large soaker tub and shower, double sinks. There is also an iron and ironing board in each unit which is a plus. Then there is the lounge with the kitchenette, Smart TV.....a home away from home. It is essentially a mini apartment. The staff are amazing and are readily always available to cater to your every need. There isn’t a phone in the room, but reception is a very short distance away....I used my cell if I needed anything. The food...
