Where to start? What a disappointment to arrive and find out there is a communal bathroom.... Not at all like website!! there is NO SECURITY!! (I don't know how this is possible in South Africa in 2017???) When I asked for a key to my room she laughed and said no need for a key as it is safe..... I was not informed that I will be sharing a bathroom... House smelled very bad... Breakfast the following morning was a disappointment. For R 75 you can either have continental or "Full English" NOT BOTH!??? I asked for a small portion, the host laughed and walked away and I got served a normal portion. Read moreStayed here with husband and friend. Petra and husband Louis have a number of holiday properties on this site but i can only review the main house that we stayed in. Not sure how many it sleeps but it us a lot more than 3!. It was the original farmhouse (1904) with high ceilings and big terraces. The decor is old fashioned but the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. It is self catering but you can pay for a cooked breakfast which can be taken in the large sitting/dining room or one of the vast terraces. Lovely position and views. You can easily have wonderful braais here while having stunning views of the hillsides. Anything here is done with a lot of love. The whole accommodation makes you feel like coming home to the farm you dreamed of. The hosts are georgious and will help you with anything you need.
