Bothabelo Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located near the Phalaborwa gate of the Kruger National Park. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The room was clean and contained a fridge and kettle and airconditioner. The parking is safe on the premises. There is a large outside area in which children can run and play. A lovely thatched lapa in which to braai. A tasty breakfast is eaten in a cozy dining area. Bothabelo Bed and Breakfast does not supply soap, shampoo, towels or hardryer. There are grocery stores and petrol stations nearby. A very pleasant experience at an affordable price.

Really disappointed with this as the pictures are not a true representation of what you actually get. Rooms are dilapidated, and not clean or kept well. Stains on the towels and linen. Bathroom falling apart, old soaps in the shower, outdated and no hot water, no where to hang your “stained” towel. Mosquitoes all over the room, when the aircon switches off because of the load shedding, you are a screwed. Staff are not bothered and not helpful nor welcoming. Doesn’t deserve to call itself 3 stars, this place needs a lot of work!

Value for money! This is the real African experience. Love Nomsa, the owner, she is very positive, helpful and kind. We took a cultural tour with her, that was very touching. We will come back again!

I'm very disappointed with the service...from a long drive once we got here we had to wait at the reception for rooms verification. Which took time because the security was making calls back and forth trying to allocate rooms. Keep in mind I made a booking 4 days back in between communicating with admin. Okay, time to see our room first they allocated a room that was not cleaned.....went to another room, looked like someone eent out and will be coming back later because they left their food, apparently it was for the day before people who booked did not show up. As I was trying to get used to this room I opened the fridge, and found things food drinks. I'm disappointed....I'm not comfortable. The bed smell like someone slept here like they did not change the sheets and pillow cases. I'm super disappointed

I would not recommend...

I had the most disappointing experience at this place. The room was not clean. The cleaner came late sometimes around 5. Her cleaning tools was only 1 dirty mop. The linen was never changed even when it was dirty. The towels were also never changed even after we asked the cleaner. Wet bathroom mats were not changed but hanged outside and were never brought back to the room. There was no bin provided in the room, just a dirty bucket. The bnb doesn't look like what they show here. The staff have attitude. There was a huge spider in our room. Everything was dirty. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Nomsa this was very disappointing. Next time tell you receptionist not to insist on speaking a language the guest doesn't understand. Overall very...

Worst ever, this is no 3 star establishment, shower has no soap holder, need to put every-ting on the floor, black moss in the tile grouting in the shower and the bath. Had no hot water when I wanted to shower in the morning. When the neighboring room use water the pipes in the roof go mad, The floor tiles is not bonded so when you walk on it it lifts up, there is bed lights but no plug, so just an ornament. Going for breakfast is even worse. if you want toast you need to go and plug the peculator out and plug the toaster in so you can make your own toast. The Worcestershire was empty so I put it one side but low and behold that same empty bottle where back the next morning, and so I can...
