We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at La Lechere! The property is absolutely stunning. The owners and staff took great care of us. Isabella helped me secure a fantastic local female guide of Kruger, which was very important to me - as there aren’t too many female guides in the industry. I really appreciated that she could speak to the experiences the local guiding community offered and had a really nice price sheet with a variety of activity descriptions and prices. Honestly, (this is going to sound funny but…) the dogs were a huge draw for us because we miss our dog and it was so nice to be able to love on them! The suites are stunning and have big bath tubs and really nice showers. There are two beautiful pools on the property. The attention to detail on the landscaping and all of their decor was top notch! The breakfast was fantastic, they have a capuchino machine, honor system bar, WiFi, solar power, and the hot water was HOT! Plus they have a secure parking area that they give you a key fob for the gate to get in. Everything about their operation was very meticulously thought out and it was truly a pleasure to get to stay at such a luxurious...
Read moreMixed feelings. Room was great. Clean. Spacious. Property is quite nice as well as the staff and it was great that they have the friendly dogs around. The. Issue comes in with the OWNERS. They were incredibly stand offish and completely ignored me. I heard good reviews and I assumed that both the owners would also show me the same respect. I bumped into the female owner as I got there and I greeted her with a big hello and her response was very cold. Almost like she forced herself to greet me. Same with the male owner. He told me where to park and as I got out the car he ignored me and just didn’t even welcome me. That whole experience completely turned me off and u have to wonder if that was a racist encounter or something else. I didn’t feel comfortable after that and sorta made sure to avoid them. Luckily the staff was great. I’m really disappointed in the owners and it has left a sour taste in my mouth. I’m wondering if I would feel comfortable going back and that’s purely because of the rude and stand offish owners. You cannot have guests come onto your property and see them and completely ignore them. This has never happened to me...
