We arrived late in the afternoon after spending a long day on the Panorama Route. The owner welcomed us in a friendly fashion and took us to the family room. The room looked a bit old, but was very clean. We had air conditioning and a hot shower, which was actually all we needed for this stay. We were also surprised with some refreshments and a bottle of wine.||||Nearby are some good restaurants and supermarkets, so we could stock up before entering the Kruger Park the next morning at 5:30. Location in relation to Phalaborwa Gate, KNP, is good.||Unfortunately though, Lalamo made me think of Brigitte Bardot. It must have been a beautiful place a couple years back but time hasn't been friendly. Read moreA decent accommodation for overnight stay. Was disappointed at the room - it’s quite old and dull - definitely not as it looks in pictures when booking. The automatic mosquito spray was very helpful to have however the smell gets overwhelming. Lighting too bright. Bedside lamps available as alternative however there’s no two-pin plugs therefore take your own. Breakfast is okay - not much variety for vegan/vegetarians in terms of the warm breakfast.
