We just got back from an incredible 5-night stay at Muweti Bush Lodge and honestly, it couldn’t have been better! We stayed in a tented chalet, which was perfect — super comfortable and gave us that amazing feeling of really being out in the bush. Waking up to the sounds of nature all around was just magical.||The food was another highlight — breakfast, lunch, and dinner all cooked by their talented chef, and every meal was absolutely delicious. They really looked after us!||During the day, we loved chilling by their infinity pool (which was always spotless) and often had animals wandering nearby — such a cool experience.||The sunrise and sunset game drives were a dream — so well-organized, and we always felt safe. Our guides were so knowledgeable and passionate, which made every drive even more enjoyable. We were lucky to see so much wildlife and nature: giraffes, lions, wild dogs, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, zebras, antelope, and loads more. Every drive was different and exciting.||And finally, Laura and Mike, the hosts, were just the best — so warm, welcoming, and genuinely lovely people. They made the whole experience even more special. From the moment we arrived at Muweti, we felt welcomed, taken care of, and completely immersed in something special. It’s hard to describe how rare it is to find a place that combines comfort, deep respect for nature, and truly exceptional people — but Muweti manages to do just that.

But what really made the experience unforgettable was the team. Every single member of the staff was knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly respectful of the environment. The game drives were not just about spotting animals (though we saw SO many!) — they were full of stories, insights, and quiet awe. We never felt rushed or “touristy.” Just present.

And the food! Wow. Every meal — breakfast, lunch, and dinner — was absolutely delicious. Thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of variety. We looked forward to every bite just as much as we did to the game drives (which says a lot!).
