Highlands Eco Estate — Hotel in Bergrivier Local Municipality

We was for 2 Nights guests on our roundtrip on the Western Cape.Here you live completly in the nature with great views.The rooms are suites with 50 qm, excellent furnicht and a big kingsized bed.|The breakfast is excellent and in the evening the Hosts Niki and Vissie prepare a very good Dinner, because there is no Restaurant nearby.|On our second day Vissie invited us to a Trip in the Mountains with his open Landcruiser.We saw Cave paintings from the bushmens and finally we visited a fruitfarm and we saw the whole process from picking and packing the fruits for Export.|Thanks Niki and Vissie for hosting us and we learnd a lot of nature and also from SouthAfrica.|Peter...

Highlands Eco state was the highlight of a few days journey North of Cape Town. Located in a beautiful and pristine mountainous area; the view from the lodge is amazing; mountains; valleys; fruit fields and beautiful wilderness hosting numerous species of wildlife. The accommodations are in perfect harmony with the scenery, we felt immediately home in the beautiful cabin overlooking the dream's landscape. We had a beautiful long weekend at Highland Eco Estate near Piketberg. Tucked away on the Versveldpas -The scenery is spectacular and the architecture settle into the landscape unnoticed. Beautifully decorated spacious rooms looking onto the misty mountains. After a lovely meal, the sparkling pool and jacuzzi awaits. Good quality coffee and tea facilities in each room.
