ATKV Goudini Spa — Hotel in Breede Valley Local Municipality

I would like to bring the following to your attention:|||We were booked in the camping site this past weekend from 23 - 25 May2025. We arrived and had terrific service from the ladies at reception. We were then placed on plot 43 & 44. We were sitting outside by the campsite and the security's came to make a turn to say that we should put the music off which we did, please note there were other people that music was playing very much louder than ours. That was the only time that securities made a turn by us. Further more we were then sitting by the fire and having conversation the people camping at slighty behind us was partying till pass one o clock the morning. The next morning you could see the other people on the campsite was looking at us and started to make funny comments. The one lady walked till infront of our stand and was saying "sies, sies" this was a total disgust to me because I could then pick up that this is racism playing off. The security manager then pulled up and asked to speak to the person that booked the place. I then went to him, and he told me that they received several complaints, and we need to leave the site. I then asked him who complained because there were other people that was also partying late, he said he does not need to tell me we should just leave the place. I then asked why we not get a final warning and why are we just to leave and whether I will get my money back as he is forcing us to leave now. He said we won’t get the money back and we should see that we leave. The people with me started to get frustrated because he also did not have a manner to speak to me. I then started packing and left the resort. I could see from what was happening around us that the people that camp there is regulars, and they know each other. And my biggest disgust was the fact that the Security Manager could not be decent with us and demanded that we leave without a warning. I would like to require that my money for the 2 plots for the Saturday gets paid back as I did not have the use of the resort for that day. Also, I would like the Security Manager that was on duty be approached about his way toward coloured people. He should treat people with respect. I know the resort can’t be held accountable for the racism of their visitors , but this should also be acknowledged. We are all working towards a better South Africa but the way things was handled was true racism which I have not seen before.||I would also like to get my money back of the 2 plots for the Saturday that we were put...

I booked the 5 sleeper wikideal luxury rondavel weekday special for 3 nights as a gift. Apparently the keys was to a 5 sleeper rondavel for disabled preference tabs that wasn’t the case but I feel bad for disabled people, they could have given them something nicer. The rondawel was not what the pics looked like. They mentioned that was the only wikideal one left and the wikideals rondavels is different to the normal priced rondavels and that wasn’t displayed in the fine print of the disclaimer. Secondly, should they not have contacted the client to ask if it’s okay, so the client has a choice instead of shoving them in a place….because at the end of the day it wasnt baby friendly (8 month old baby). In the evening they moved them to a 6 sleeper not saying they must move again the next morning. Imagine packing up all your belongings and carting a 8 month old baby in 30 degrees…. My daughter called saying they are speaking to her rudely wanting her to pay for the place they moved them into. I decided to call because I paid and to be honest these ladies at reception was so unprofessional and rude that it made me angry and then they got hold of the manager, oh my word I was on speaker phone and this lady was so rude she blatantly said “ No, I don’t want to hear or speak to your mother she’s not here, she can drive down and come speak to me I’m not gonna talk to her you here so deal with it…..bare in mind it will take me more than an hour drive to sort out their incompetence …WHAT TYPE OF SERVICE IS THIS!! All I can say it’s shocking, this should not be how a well known resort treat Clients!!! And people please be aware that you might not get what you asked for. We didn’t ask for a wheelchair facility but if that is the rondavels they give for disabled people where they do have nicer ones then it says a lot. I’m still appalled by the shouting!!! I tried writing a review to wikideals but they don’t have a section for that.. I’m happy to share the photos if need contacted. I noticed on the review page is the known response is to email Ibtishaam to investigate, this is the person that was blatantly rude 🤦🏼‍♀️ and according to a lot of reviews your office staff are rude, can the owner not take these...

Very disappointing service received. I have stayed at Ghoudini 3 times before and done over 7-day visits in which we never ever had an issue, one of which we had an event at with over 40 people. I would like to consider myself a loyal client but after what I experienced, I am shocked and will never ever recommend them to anyone.

Theres no customer empathy or loyalty from them here’s why :

On the 20th of August we took a trip out to do a day visit, my mum was here visiting from Durban, and it was her BIRTHDAY so we decided to take her to AKTV she was beyond excited the entire journey. When we got there we were told that they do not allow day visitors anymore.

We then requested to chat to a manager to ask if an exception can be made considering there was no updated on the websites stating day visitors are not allowed. He then approached us and we even showed him my mums ID to prove it was her birthday..

He showed no empathy or care to even listen to us, he kept rudely brushing us off and insisted that we should have phoned first but we explained we checked the website and there was nothing about no more day visitors allowed. And we drove TWO hours can we atleast visit for an hour and we will leave but he wasn’t hearing anything.

He advised they have reached capacity but, in that time, we saw over 9 cars leaving…. Which made us question his statement.

We then called the customer service line and after explaining the situation including our point about the website not being updated the lady on the line couldn’t answer me and just dropped the call. When we tried calling back they kept rejecting the call.

Driving for TWO HOURS Being pregnant, my 1-year-old dressed with her costume and having a floaters ready including my excited mum eager to see AKTV who was here on holiday and the fact that it was her birthday meant nothing to them.

Its so disappointing that this is what we got from them, it actually leaves me more sad than angry to accept this is the treatment loyal...
