We booked 7 nights, the shower was blocked when we arrived, but the next morning the cleaning ladies sorted it out. Beds are comfortable, linen nice as well. BOOK the game drives! R350pp. You can eat at the restaurant. My recommendation is 3 nights- eat at the restaurant and do 4 game drives! You can drive As well but much better to do the game drives! If the pay attention to small maintenance issues in the Rondawel this camp will be fully booked - the hot water is right not left in the shower. Cutlery limited-but at a fraction of what you pay at the private lodges which is in the same reserve! Sabi Sand, Tintswalo and Honeyguide. Pensioner discount for the community levy R25 pp- other R55 per day.

Manyeleti means, "Place of the stars" but to me it means "magic!" I have never had sightings of wild animals like I have seen at Manyeleti on safari. Everyone at Manyeleti is friendly and helpful, they are all so accommodating and welcoming. I really can't say enough wonderful things about the magic of Manyeleti but I can say that I highly recommend a visit to anyone looking to go on safari. The restaurant is also fabulous with a gorgeous view. I highly recommend a visit to Manyeleti and we will be back! 🙂

Don't expect 5 star treatment unless you want to stay at a lodge. The chalets are clean and tidy. That's a plus point to me. If you don't mind a couple of things that's malfunctioning and such, the baboons, monkeys, and other animals wandering in the camp I would say it's a great place to visit for sure. Great game viewing with great sightings.

The worst experience Ive ever had. I knew what we were getting into having looked at the photos and in no way was I expecting a luxury lodge. We've stayed in Kruger multiple times and are used to the accommodation, however, when we arrived they were unclear of our booking. They put us in rooms and once we had unpacked came and made us move rooms. Many things in the rooms are broken or missing. The showers basically flood when you use them. The taps are falling off the table and chunks of table top missing from the kitchens and lastly the top of the sheets were clean looking but underneath full of stains. The acting manager is extremely rude and basically put blame on everyone else. The game drives were poorly planned, the vehicles were not good and often ran out of petrol or had to be jump started. We often had to waste an hour and a half of your drive going to and from the gate to pick up guests and then over loading the vehicle where we had to sit 4 people in a 3 seat row. That is even if the rangers weren't over 45minutes late to pick you up. The rangers don't use radios and scream at the top of their lungs on phone calls while you are at a sighting. One of the rangers accompanying us on a drive, thankfully not the driver was extremely drunk, stumbling around and stank of alcohol. There are hundreds of snares. Animals running around with snares on their necks and multiple animals caught and died in the snares. We alone cut down 8 snares. In the camp itself we stumbled upon and abandoned building with a freezer with bush meat leading us to think the camp is part of the snare problem. The disgusting attitude of the acting manager who tried to argue the entire time and blame others and just a general attitude of 'I don't care' was disgusting. The snares and not a care in the world that they were there ruined the entire trip. I would much rather stay in Kruger where people care. DO NOT...

We were four couples that stayed for 5 nights at Manyeleti Main Camp. The chalets were neat and the linen was clean but the larger camp site is generally in a terrible state. The caravan camp sites are not maintained at all and are overgrown There are many abandoned and dilapidated buildings on the property The perimeter fence is not maintained and the electric fence wires are broken Building rubble is discarded outside the camp in the reserve The thatched roof of the main building was totally destroyed by baboons a while ago and it is not yet fixed

The management of the camp is very bad The camp was marketed by BOOK DIRECT in our case. We paid months in advance for a special that included accommodation, meals and game drives and then at short notice we were told meals and game drives are no longer included. We had to pay much higher rates for food and game drives during our stay and now after two weeks we were not refunded the initial amount that we paid for the special The camp has two game drive vehicles and during our stay both were out of order Monkeys and big groups of baboons are allowed to roam freely and stay overnight in the camp The workers striked during our stay. Management did nothing to provide cleaning and other services during the strike. They did not even open the offices During the strike we were locked out of the reserve and management did nothing to help us get back

Please consider this before visiting Manyeleti Main Camp. A terrible camp in a...
