Once again another fantastic stay at Nkorho, our third return From the moment you turn onto Nkorho's property you are welcomed by your Guide allocated to you (Deon guide), Tracker (Freeman) and the reception lady with a refreshing welcome drink All our meals from breakfast to dinner were absolutely incredible, my Fiancée is highly allergic to paprika, cayenne pepper and chilli and the chef made sure everytime that her meal had none of the above mentioned and was safe for her to eat. The staff at Nkorho Lodge are always super happy and always whiling to go the extra mile on anything you needed or didn't even need. The rooms are just breathtakingly beautiful, double showers for two to enjoy our even an outside shower to experience. The beds are so comfy and one struggles to get out of bed when you get your wake up call at 5:30am from your Guide for the morning safari drive Our 6 game drives with Deon and Freeman were next level, I was a guide myself and some sightings I had never experienced until being at Nkorho Some of our highlights were tracking a lioness and 4 young lions from the Talamati breakaway, we heard hyena whooping in the background and the lioness was on a mission to follow up on the hyena calls, shortly after another young male lion from the Nkuhuma pride took a young Buffalo down and all hell broke lose when the lioness found the carcass We had lions fighting and hyena whooping all around us Incredible leopard sightings and much more to mention I would highly recommend anyone to visit this incredible Lodge without any hesitation You will not regret one minute of your stay there A huge thank you to Anja (GM) Deon (guide) Freeman (Tracker) and to all the staff at Nkorho Lodge for making our third stay an unforgettable one Came as friends and left as family We will see you all soon for definite Cole and Dani

Upon arriving you are greeted by friendly and smiling faces, and some of them are dog faces! The cabins are phenomenal, with the beds comfy and rooms spacious. Looking out from them is the wonderful view of a watering hole, on our first day we saw two herds of elephants splashing and drinking the water. A wonderful welcome from the local wildlife. The meals are, to put it mildly, delicious! Saying they are delicious is such a huge understatement because each dish is cooked to perfection, and presented to you in as a work of art you not only get to visually appreciate but orally as well. If it is your birthday while you are a guest there, make sure you save room for the large and rich dessert. I thought I had prepared myself for it by only getting a half sized main dish but I was bested by the sheer size of it, but I gave it a gallant effort. For game drives, my family had Pieter as a guide and Chris as a tracker. Their skills are second to none. Their knowledge, enthusiasm, and dedication to finding the animals make it so that even the most sleepy person who hates mornings will come alive with excitement when they find you the wild dogs or pride of lions. Just make sure Pieter leaves a door open on the vehicle if he goes scouting for tracks. During our stay, the staff made us feel like part of their family. To do that day in and day out with new guests coming and going speaks to their professionalism and passion for the work they do. Do yourself a favour, if you are considering a safari trip book with Nkorho Bush Lodge. You'd be hard pressed to choose a better place.

From the moment we arrived at the lodge, we knew we were in for something special. As our ranger said on our first game drive, “We are in the business of making dreams come true,” and that’s exactly what they did. We were fortunate enough to witness the Big Five and so much more, thanks to the incredible expertise of Ruan and Freeman. They shared their vast knowledge and passion for the land, the wildlife, and the intricate ecosystem of the Sabie area, turning every moment into an unforgettable learning experience. Matt and Pieter also shared their amazing knowledge and expertise as additional rangers of the lodge and ensured we where also well taken care off. The lodge itself is nothing short of spectacular. Every member of the staff welcomed us with warm smiles and impeccable hospitality, ensuring we felt right at home. Our family room was spacious, modern, and equipped with every amenity we could possibly need—and then some! When it comes to food, Chef Chris and his team are culinary magicians. Each meal was a feast, and every bite was a delight. We may have left with a few extra pounds, but it was worth every calorie! Special thanks to Kayla and her team, who ensured that every aspect of our stay was taken care of with genuine care and attention to detail. This beautifully run and managed lodge is an absolute must for anyone looking for a safari holiday that is not only adventurous but also incredibly fulfilling. The combination of luxury, breathtaking wildlife experiences, and world-class hospitality made our stay truly out of this world!

I recently had disappointing experience of staying at this luxury safari lodge in South Africa, and I must say that my experience fell far short of the high praise it received from other guests. In comparison to other lodges in South Africa and the surrounding region, this place left much to be desired.

First and foremost, the lodge exudes a fake sense of luxury that borders on pretentiousness. The overall ambiance and atmosphere felt forced and unjustified. Moreover, the food served at the lodge was nothing short of a disappointment. Comparable to airplane food in terms of quality, it failed to live up to the expectations one would have for a luxury lodge.

Regrettably, the level of privacy provided by the lodges varied greatly. The specific lodge I was checked into faced a common area, affording me little to no privacy during my stay. Basic privacy is certainly an expectation one would have, especially when staying at a luxury establishment.

The game rides offered by the lodge were another letdown. Instead of an authentic and immersive experience, it felt like we were simply being shuttled from one spot to another based on information received through the driver's radio. There was no effort made towards animal tracking or creating a more organic experience. Instead, we found ourselves queuing with other cars to catch a glimpse of the same wildlife. To make matters worse, our driver frequently exceeded the speed limit and exhibited behavior that could be considered animal harassment, such as loudly opening and shutting the doors to attract the animals' attention.

Despite these shortcomings, I feel compelled to acknowledge the efforts of the hotel manager who genuinely tried to address the main issues I encountered during my stay. Their attentiveness and dedication were notable, and I appreciated...
