Graafwater Hotel — Hotel in Cederberg Local Municipality

Graafwater Hotel is situated in a nice quiet town in the Sandveld. Here things still happens very slowling and it might even happen that there are no money to withdraw in town. The backpackers rooms are small with only two single beds, a washing basin, bedside table and a chair, but if sleeping is all you want you will get just that and a nice hot shower. On arrival at 16.25 and only at 17.05 was shown to room. No wifi in room, was told to sit in bar for wifi, person with dog in next door room. No one at reception. One pillow case had dirt marks on. Walls are cracked. Waited 35 min before room was shown. Owner more worried on regular bar customers than customers staying for accommodation. No wifi in rooms - only avail in bar. Next door room person had a dog. General condition of Hotel - not good. Never again. Not recommended. NOT WORTH A 3 STAR...

We were in a beatiful room, with heater, hot shower, kettle... we couldn’t ask for more, and the room was 300 rands! Amazing price. The owner was very very kind with us. We were all wet after three hours riding under the rain, and the first thing she did was invite us to a free coffee. So nice!
