⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review: Omega Luxury Mountain Retreat
Wow, just wow! If I could give Omega Luxury Mountain Retreat more than 5 stars, I would. Our experience here was absolutely phenomenal, and I can't sing their praises enough. Natalie and Johnathan, the fantastic owners, went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing short of perfection. Their attention to detail and dedication to creating a memorable experience truly shone through.
Let's talk about the location—it's like stepping into a postcard. Nestled amidst majestic mountains, the views were simply breathtaking. It felt like we were in our own little slice of heaven, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The tranquility and serenity of the surroundings had an instant calming effect on us.
Now, let's get to the accommodations. We were lucky enough to stay in both the brand new Coral container cabin and the sought-after red cabin, and let me tell you, they both exceeded our wildest expectations. The cabins were beautifully designed, with stunning finishing touches that added a touch of luxury and charm. It was evident that every detail had been carefully thought out. Comfortable beds, cozy interiors, and modern amenities—everything we needed for an unforgettable stay.
But what sets Omega Luxury Mountain Retreat apart is their exceptional service. Natalie, a fellow vegan, surprised us with delightful vegan treats and made us feel incredibly welcome.
The cold beers on ice were a wonderful touch, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. We felt like valued guests from the moment we arrived until the moment we reluctantly had to say goodbye.
Omega Luxury Mountain Retreat truly provided us with the ultimate relaxation experience. We left feeling rejuvenated, refreshed, and already planning our next visit. It's a place where you can truly unwind, connect with nature, and create lasting memories.
If you're searching for a little slice of paradise in Clarens, look no further than Omega Luxury Mountain Retreat. It's a hidden gem that deserves all the recognition it gets. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a breathtaking getaway and an experience that will leave you wanting more.
Thank you, Natalie and Johnathan, for creating such a remarkable haven. We can't wait to return to your oasis in the mountains!

Administration: 5 star My SMS enquiry for availability was responded to in less than 6 minutes and I appreciated the positive feedback and detailed reply outlining the facilities. Within 10 minutes later, I received my proforma invoices with banking details. For an environment that does not guarantee cell phone reception, this was impressive.
Welcome: 4 stars Upon our arrival at first, we were some what fluttered since the welcome comprised of open skies and scenery, and we passed 4 chalets without spotting a reception office to check in. Fortunately, I spotted a number for Jackie on the internet and voila, there was a human connection. Personally, I failed to comply with the check-in details online in advance, since full details of the second primary guest was required, including diet type. After a U-turn, we met Jackie at the freedom statue which has become a significant centre point of reference for Omega Cabins. The welcome was warm and the smile even brighter, and we received directions to access our container cabin. No paper work, wonderful bliss.
Accommodation: 4 stars I was blown away by the décor of our coral red container cabin. From the coral floor screed with a marbled like texture to the steaming jacuzzi, secured under cover to an inviting bathroom with open window showers. The design of the space maximizes surrounding views. The braai on the patio area was a welcomed bonus. The linen, pillows and towels are of supreme quality and the gowns made you feel like royalty. Given that there was snow on the Lesotho mountains, the extra comforter was used to snuggle up on the floating hammock / day bed. I believe, although it was mentioned that the cabin is insulated, it was fairly cold inside and the gas heater didn’t heat up the place (hence my 4 rating).
Grateful for hot showers (even though the one shower had the hot and cold water mixed up) The kitchen was well equipped, with cutlery, stylish crockery and a braai pan, with braai thongs, even some olive oil, spices and dish detergent. The hot chocolate was a bonus. Extra special care was taken with a welcome gift on ice, yes bubbly, and chocolates to melt the heart. Thank you for the memories made, and imprinted in my...
Read moreWe had a wonderful stay at Omega last week. Firstly, the selfcheck in was super easy. I love that it is safe enough to leave the key in the door so you can let yourself in. The manager, Jack was very helpful and came to check on us. He was polite, friendly and ever ready to help.
We were welcomed by the lovely scent of lavender and a cute birthday setup of champagne and a little birthday sign arranged by my husband as my birthday was last week 😊.
The cabin is well equipped with all the essentials needed and is even able to accommodate you during times of load shedding with a gas cooker and load shedding bulbs in the night shades.
It is a tranquil setting and perfect for getting away from bustling city life. The views are breathtakingly beautiful and so peaceful. We had a daily visit from a blesbok. Aside from the birds that was all the wildlife that was seen. My son absolutely loved picking wild flowers and being out in the grass flying his kite and exploring.
It's such a beautiful place and definitely worth the five year wait to visit this little piece of heaven...
