What a pleasant surprise it was, arriving from Melkbosstrand, to a well organized, fresh-smelling, clean linen, quality beds with a spacious layout to the Modern Farm Guesthouse. The well-trained staff, especially Jolet, Ammie and Watson made certain that my stay was an exceptional experience in providing firewood and freshly cooked farm food, none that were part of the menu. Watson gave me a brief but professional crash-course on Sekelbos, time from fire to coals, and even average burning temperature. Thank you Watson.

Kitchen was well stocked with necessary utensils to make self -catering a joyful experience.

Pristine clean bathroom was a bonus. Staff were always available on call, anything I requested was delivered in good time and overall experience was fantastic. The personal and private braai added to the overall experience.

I need to congratulate the staff of Modern Farm Guesthouse on their newly build unit Old Fox. My hudband and I stayed over for a night and what a beautiful and peacefull experience it was! The interior is absolutely stunning....fresh linen and a very comfortable bed! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you need...The unit has a rustic feel to it and the private garden,stoep and braai area adds to the overall feeling of satisfaction. The host is very accomodating and the communication for checking in is effortless. I will definitely recommend this place to family and friends. Keep up the good work...
