Admirals Lodge Guest House — Hotel in Eastern Cape

The place itself is beautiful - very neat rooms . However , I arrived at 8pm coming from the airport and there was no one opening the gate for me. I stood outside ringing the bell for about 30 minutes and calling the bnb endlessly but no one was picking up- the road was dark and the experience was very scary considering I'm not even from PE.Ultimately , I had to go to the lodge next door to ask that they try to contact him. They called him several times and only reached him after 30 minutes. When he finally came to open the gate for me - he did not even apologize for what had taken place which I felt was very unprofessional and disrespectful .The same thing happened when I came to get my bags the next morning - I stood outside in the cold rain and rang the bell endlessly to no avail - I had to call the owner again to open for me and luckily he answered. Realy enjoyed my stay. Rooms are very comfortable with all the extras such as microwave, bar fridge, tv, wifi and an air conditioner. They have a family room that sleeps 5. Host was ready to accommodate my Halaal needs for breakfast. They offer juices, filter coffee, a variety of cereals, yogurt, bran muffins and an English breakfast. We were outsourced to Admirals because our initial Guesthouse was full. It was a great decision as the place was sparkling clean and spacious. My colleague and I were sharing a bathroom but that did not inconvenience us it was spacious and clean. Our rooms had air-conditioning, flat screen TVs, lounge, dining area and a kitchenette.
