Gulu Private Resort — Hotel in Eastern Cape

We had the pleasure of having our wedding hosted at Gulu.

I do not have words to truly explain how amazing our event was. Every detail was taken care of by Ilona and Karien. Nothing was too much to ask. They made sure every detail was attended too.

The food was on another level. All the guests commented on how this was one of the best wedding menu's they have ever had! Absolutely delicious and authentic.

The decor was done by the team, and once again, wow!!! Attention to detail!

I could go on and on. But if you are reading this, trying to decide whether to host your wedding at Gulu. Stop reading and just book it. It will be amazing

The overall trip was wonderful. The team were incredibly helpful. supportive, kind and made things happen which normally were not offered - for instance drying our wetsuits and sardine run gear in the dryer every night; organising pack lunches for us whilst on the boat, organised a delicious braai for us on our last evening. We were also lucky to be shown around the Avery. A little hidden treasure. We hope to use Gulu Private Resort again and again, and shared the contacts with others that would like to explore the Eastern Cape for activities. Thank you to all involved at Gulu and keep up...

Its my third visit to this place. And will come back again and again if I need accommodation in East London. You always get treated like family. They are always helpfull and friendly. There is no need to drive to town for food. The food here is tops and more than enough. Stunning views from the restaurant area and the rooms. You wont make a mistake staying at Gulu. Well worth it. The people giving these guys a bad rating obviously did something wrong or they are the type that is...
