Location: beautiful and quiet surrounding to relax and enjoy the beauty around you.
Room: I was lucky being upgraded to one of their luxury tents and I have to say it was just stunning! Beautifully furnished, comfy bed, outdoor shower, discrete and just a breathtaking view included. I was even able to see giraffes from my balcony!
Host: Mike, his family and the staff are absolutely warm-hearted and considerate hosts. They are really going the extra mile to make your stay an unforgettable one!
Food: I booked one of the safari package, therefore food was included. In case you are not booking a safari package make sure you book the food additionally - they have an excellent chef!
Safari: We went on a one day trip to Addo and it was just incredible. Mike really knows exactly where to go in order to spot the animals we wanted to see (of course elephants and zebras). I had a blast!
Others: I went there as a single traveller. However, can absolutely recommend for couples (maybe even as honey moon)...

Best place you could be near Addo Elephant Park. Mike and his Wife make your stay here awsome! Very very kind and friendly, always willing to help you planning your tours and visits all around Addo. In the morning you get a solid breakfast, in the evening you sit in the great hut at the top of the area (with panoramic view above the hills and all the surroundings) and taste the delicious food they provide you with. Also the other guests of the lodge are here for dinner and you can talk about your experiences of the day or your plans for tomorrow in a very calm, relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are also great... there were nothing we could more wish for! Thank you for the really great time at your place guys! and if we should ever come back to this beautiful country we are 100%...

What a lovely stay!! We were here for 3 nights and stayed here to visit Addo Elephant Park. It was a perfect combination and a total experience! The location is in a safe zone where you can easily go to the park and back to the garden route.
The tents are so beautifully placed with a view over the valley where you can spot animals. You can see giraffes walking with their heads above the trees while the sun goes down and we could see the sunrise from our bed or while taking an outdoor shower!
They are located near a unique giraffe tour and Daniell’s cheeta farm to complete your safari experience. The hospitality and food were exceptional and a real South African experience with a lot of effort from the hosts. We would absolutely recommend to go here, for a stay you will...
