Milkwood Country House — Hotel in Eastern Cape

Quiet and nice location. The units are nice and spacious, but they are at the back with no pool views. The pool is at the owners home. No real nice views from the unit. When I sat outside on my chair. I had a wall view..., having said this, if you walk around the property there is nice views by the pool area onto the lawns. There is not a lot of privacy around your unit as the staff and owner are constantly walking up and down... Do take insect repellant as there are sooo many flies everywhere...A bonus is the fact that you may take your dogs with, but I will not advise you to take tiny dogs, there are other big dogs that may hurt your small doggies. Mine tried to run away from the big dogs and fell into the water plant pond. This was a real frighting situation for me resulting in us leaving a day earlier as one has to keep them in your unit if you want them to be safe. Big dogs should have no problem I think. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Wir waren eine Woche vor Ort und können das Gästehaus absolut weiterempfehlen. Auf unserer Reise entlang der Gardenroute war diese Unterkunft die mit Abstand beste Wahl! Das Gästehaus ist sehr groß und bestens ausgestattet. Waschmaschine, Toaster, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und Herd haben einwandfrei funktioniert. Die Lage in Port Elizabeth ist top. Absolut idyllisch und ruhig gelegen und trotzdem sehr zentral. Mit dem Auto nur 5 Minuten zum Strand und für Besorgungen war die Mall auch nur einen kurze Fahrt entfernt.
