Penbi Game Ranch — Hotel in eDumbe Local Municipality

We were actually first at Penbi in October 2021 and my husband and son were there again this October. This place is amazing! The individual thatched roof units were spacious and beautiful. The rooms have all the amenities you would need such as fluffy towels, a kitchen, and awesome views. The rooms were spotless and our large bathroom had a large soaking tub as well as a shower. Once you are inside the lodge, you are treated to several comfortable sitting areas and a large fireplace. You cannot miss the food here! Great landscape and we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived, that we could do our own game drives throughout the farm. Loved the tv, wi-fi and fireplace. Spent 4 days and had nice short walks in the evenings. Amazing picnic spot at waterfall to watch the bald ibis roosting, and to park and walk from. Another nice dam with hippo's and good birdlife. Our intention was to overnight at Penbi Game Ranch on our way to the Kruger National Park. The accommodation consists of well appointed thatch chalets which were spotless. We were welcomed to Penbi by a management representative and shown the unit which we were allocated.
