Guinea Feather Country Lodge — Hotel in Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality

I have never seen anything like this, so we were out for work me and my colleagues, and two intern Ladies who were part of my team, When we arrived at Guinea Lodge, to leave our bags and have dinner, the owner of this Lodge was so rude to me, he started telling me I'm not supposed to have any one with me, he felt like I'm hiding something from him, next thing he keeps on staring at me in a weird way and keeps on coming to me to ask me questions, and I had addressed his questions, and told him that the ladies we are with now are booked at another Lodge and we are trying to get a bolt for them but if we can't then il sort that out he left and he came back again asking me who's car is that in like mine ah now his asking why don't I take them, told him I've been driving the whole day so I'm tired,

So I went to my room i wanted to use the rest rooms I found the toilet dirty and I let that slide but I took pictures to show him, afterwards I check if it flushes I find that it doesn't flush i called him and the Man wanted to cass and he started speaking loay saying he cleans the toilets himself,

Afterwards he fixes the issue of the toilet not flushing, the next thing he stands outside my room and looks at me I ask what are u looking at me his like I'm watching u, imagine a old man just standing outside your booked room saying that and I said no you can go you don't need to watch me,

The way he treated us made me wonder of is this the way he treats all his clients who come in there or it was just us,

We ended up not even sleeping there we left and got ourself another Accomodation next thing he calls my company and claims we have stolen tea bags, coffee sachets, tissues imagine, and his threatening to open a case against us.

Well the place was horrible not to mention that the owner didn't treat us well, the lodge is just bad, the Accomodation not comfortable at all. This place is not a place I recoment to any one. its very bad and it doesn't smell right as well, there are alot of insects as well.

I have been in alot of Lodges but I have never come across such treatment even if I'm a black person served by a white person they are always kind but this white owner just become rude because he thought we came and brought women to the lodge even thou I explicitly explained to him that they are people we are working with and they are booked in...

I have to say this place is a horrible place the Owner of this place I just don't understand if he understands how to treat his customers ,I arrived there late with my colleagues and My Colleague went inside while we sat in the car because we were tired ,and also two of our colleagues were booked at a different location now while we were still requesting for bolt my colleague came back and said the owner is having an issue with the Two other colleagues we were with so it was Two ladies that we were with and he taught we came with our spouses there ,he told my colleague that they don't accept visitors or extra guests if they are sleeping the room price was for one person and not Two people, next thing we found that the toilets were dirty and they don't flush ,he was very rude to us when we brought this matter before him we ended up leaving the lodge and booked else where because of the bad treatment he gave us and In all my auditing years I have never come across a lodge that was this bad next thing he called our offices and said we stolen Tea and coffee that was there in the rooms which we didn't even sleep at,this was a very bad experience I don't recommend this...

This property is way over priced as the maintenance is not done and the rooms are nothing to get excited about. My food order was totally wrong and they just didn't care about it. We only got a 'sorry about that'. We complained about the airconditioner that is not working properly and making a terrible noise which kept us awake. The only reply was that we should press the remote very hard for it to work and that they may have to replace the remote in the future. They said there was a spa, but there were no price list or instructions on how to book. Also no information about the area or suggestions of things to do. Staff were clueless and very difficult...
