If you want to get away from the Rat Race and enjoy an internet-reduced, fly-fishing, park-off holiday, then Luiperdkloof Trout Lodge is definitely the place to go. Good for families and fisherman. Lovely walks in the meadows and crystal clear mountain pools and streams to play in. For the more energetic, there are canoes available and plenty of walks around the property. The dirt roads on the way to the farm aren't too bad, but not to be rushed. The beautiful brown trout which we caught and released were a highlight. We loved the unmarked farm….felt authentic and real. ||||The accommodation was comfortable and clean. The kitchen well equipped with what we need. Loved having sharp knives - often need to take our own or bring sharpening stones with. Read moreWe visited the Lodge for the third time in October this year and were once again blown away by the tranquility and the absolute "laid-back" atmosphere.||Despite grotty weather, we still enjoyed the stay and the fishing was fair. Glad to know that the dams are once gain being stocked with trout.||Thanks to Kirsten who offered to take us site-seeing at the Bivane Waterfall which is quite close by, because the gravel road needs a high-clearance vehicle.
