Eagle View - Migrate Portfolio — Hotel in Emakhazeni Local Municipality

Eagle view 1 will catch you by surprise. It is absolutely incredible. The views alone are worth the trip. The building itself is mostly steel, timber and glass. The north, east and south of the building is all glass doors, that slide open, so the views are the best I have ever seen. Eagle view 1 is perched at the top of a mountain and you have incredible 360⁰ views. The road to the location requires a 4*4 vehicle. The accomodation itself is one bedroom, all open plan. Very well furnished, the bed is very comfortable. A nice dining table to accommodate 2 people, a comfortable sofa and a gas heater are provided. The kitchen is fully stocked with a gas hob and a gas/electric oven. A separate braai lapa is off to the one side of the main building, this is enclosed. Full bathroom with a shower and seperate toilet. The Kolkol hot tub is a must, takes about 2 hours to get to temperature but well worth the effort, the views from the hot tub are perfect. Be sure to take enough wood. Taking a hike is a must, plenty of game to see and many directions to go in. What an incredible experience, we loved EVERYTHING about our stay at Eagle View cabin. Audrey was a phenomenal host, from enquiry to check-out, she was very patient and very helpful. Thank you for sharing this breathtaking cabin with us. The views are out of this world, the cabin is modern, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly need.

The cabin is completely off the grid, secluded and very private, which I loved and appreciated. We had the whole mountain top to ourselves, which allowed for some much needed R&R :) It’s a self-catering unit, accessible by 4x4 vehicle, arranged shuttle or helicopter service only.
