WONDERFUL!!!!!! Upmarket accommodation with warm and welcoming hosts. Ultra comfortable beds, crisp, fresh, quality linen, spotlessly clean. Lovely added personal touches (even Easter eggs on our pillows). Tea, coffee, fridge, fans, desk and wifi in room. Delicious coffee at breakfast with range of choice from continental to a full cooked breakfast made to order for even the fussiest of travellers. My biggest regret is not finding Bokmakierie sooner. Ideal stop over from O.R. Tambo for en route holiday/area business guests. For me it was (and will continue to be) ideal to get out of Johannesburg after work whilst still light and get a fresh daylight start to Kruger Park /Hazyview/Nelspruit. Business travellers this is an ideal stay. I have had many experiences of supposed 4 and 5 * rated places in Witbank and have been utterly appalled/ disappointed, so much so that I got back in my car and travelled on in the dark. We had a very warm welcome by Andre to the Guesthouse. He gave us good tips, helped us carry our luggage and even offered to order us some pizza from a local restaurant. Big thanks to him also for being super friendly also on the next morning! Our room was really comfy with all the amenitied you'd expect. Parking lot is inside the fenced property and everything felt really safe. Breakfast was a combination of warm food served to your prefence and cereal + toast. Every time I get to my home away from home - there is always a new surprise. Either something new on the menu, or the decor has been changed, or there are new plants in the garden! I love the personal touch of flowers next to my bed or a single piece of lavender on the neatly rolled toilet paper. Bokmakierie has become not my first choice, my ONLY choice for my monthly trips.
