Lily Villa Country Lodge — Hotel in Emalahleni Local Municipality

We had my daughter's wedding there on Saturday, her wedding started at 3pm and was brutally crashed by your day visitors by 7pm, when we complained to reception and security the reception lady was so drunk she could not even speak properly, she told us that this is our own fault because we only had access to use the venue from 3pm to 5pm, only 2 hours for R7000 for a hall with no locks???? ||And your day visitors coming in to dance and take over the wedding reception eating all the wedding food & snacks meant for the wedding guests. ||I will leave a review on every single platform about the horrible horrendous service you offer your guests. ||Your day visitors and lack of night security honestly screwed up my daughter's wedding day, as a day that was supposed to be memorable for the new wedding couple is now only a memory of horror thanks to the way you conduct business on your premises. ||I would advise anyone to rather spend your hard earned money somewhere else where there is professional people who care about your experience too and not only about your money like the staff & management of Lily Villa County Lodge, you should change your name to Lodge of Horrors to fit the TRUE experience you give your guests.||Worst experience of our lifes and my daughter is utterly heartbroken because of this, we lost ALOT of money entertaining your day guests in the night time with no security in sight, THIS IS COMPLETELY...

This is not a country guesthouse as advertised. My stay felt like low budget contractor accommodation. No country feel as advertised. We were scared to drive into the area at night. Not safe area at all as the place is based between truck workshops and yards and based outside the residential are and located on the outskirts in the industrial are between coal truck yards etc. Deffintely not safe driving out there at night. When booking I was promised 2 blankets. Upon arrival not enough blankets. Room was axtremely cold. No small carpets next to bed or in bathroom no carpets or curtain. We were 2 guests. There was only one towel available.i would not recommend this place. The lady at reception was very helpful and offered me another room and discount as the 1st room booked was very cold and contractor like and bathroom was very scary. Both rooms were extremely cold...

The place is old and needs some serious renovations! The amount charged for the room we were given was totally not worth it, no TV, no kettle, the toilet space is very small.

Their beds are very old and uncomfortable!!!! Sheets, pillow and cases old. No towels were supplied.

It was raining for the better part of the afternoon and night.. There was water on the floor, leaks through the windows and door..

Had loadshedding from 10pm, woke up with no electricity and water!!
