Ludiaana Guest House — Hotel in Emfuleni Local Municipality

We have just returned from a three night stay at this guest house. While the owners were friendly, the experience was rather disappointing. ||||The room was extremely small! Despite requesting a double with a single for a child to share the room in advance, the room we were given only just held the queen and single bed with enough space to walk around them. There was no where to put cases and no cupboards.||||At breakfast cereal and museli was displayed, but on all ocassions I had to ask for milk and cereal bowls...||||The walls of the room were rather dirty and there was a layer of dust everywhere. Decor was very basic - not 'elegent' as the 'blurb' states.||||Maybe good for one night if you are a business traveller as price includes a free wifi...

I didn't even bother making a reservation, on my first attempt to get a quote for a room, the gentleman that answered the phone did not even bother to state the establishment. I then immediately assumed I had dialled the incorrect number. A few days later I tried again and the same gentleman answered the phone, but this time I could gather that I have come through to the correct number. He answered the phone speaking English, but obviously cannot speak nor understand the language, I then switched to Afrikaans and realized this has nothing to do with language, but purely being rude and very unprofessional. The staff was excellent,very helpful,but booking was messed up,communication was not good,initially we were supposed to check in at 2 pm we only had our rooms available at 7pm .Breakfast was promised but promise was not kept.I will not...
