Wir haben in der Lions Valley Lodge die wohl schönste Erfahrung unseres Lebens gemacht. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir vom gesamten Team so herzlich empfangen, dass wir uns sofort wie Zuhause gefühlt haben.

Das Personal ist einfach unglaublich – freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich. Jeder einzelne hat dazu beigetragen, dass unser Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen Traum wurde. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir unseren Ranger Riccardo: Die Game Drives mit ihm waren sensationell! Er hat uns mit Wissen, Leidenschaft und Humor durch die Wildnis geführt, sodass jede Fahrt ein echtes Highlight war.

Ebenso unvergesslich war der Service von Siya und Sheppard. Mit ihrem Humor, ihrer Herzlichkeit und ihrer Aufmerksamkeit haben sie uns nicht nur bestens versorgt, sondern uns wie Freunde behandelt. Vielen Dank auch an Angelique und die Managerin (deren Namen wir leider vergessen haben), die uns jederzeit mit Rat, Hilfe und einem offenen Ohr zur Seite standen.

Ein absolutes Special war das überraschende Candle-Light-Dinner auf unserer Veranda – organisiert vom gesamten Team. Dieser Abend war magisch und hat uns zutiefst berührt.

Auch kulinarisch war es ein Traum: Das Essen war unglaublich lecker – immer zu viel, aber so köstlich, dass wir einfach nicht widerstehen konnten.

Die Lodge selbst ist wunderschön eingerichtet, mit viel Liebe zum Detail, und der direkte Blick vom Pool und der Veranda auf das Wasserloch ist spektakulär – Tiere ganz nah, auch ohne Safari.

Wir wollten gar nicht mehr abreisen. Die Gespräche mit dem Team, die Herzlichkeit und die Atmosphäre haben uns fühlen lassen, als wären wir Teil einer großen Familie.

Staying at Lions Valley Lodge was truly the most beautiful experience we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel so welcome – it immediately felt like home.

The staff are simply amazing – warm, attentive and genuinely kind. Every single person went above and beyond to make our stay an absolute dream. A very special mention to our ranger Riccardo: the game drives with him were simply unforgettable! He shared so much knowledge with us, always with great humor and passion, and made every drive a highlight.

Equally unforgettable were Siya and Sheppard in the service team. With their humor, kindness and attentiveness, they not only took care of us perfectly but also made us feel like friends. Many thanks as well to Angelique and the lodge manager (whose name we unfortunately forgot), who always looked after us, answered all our questions and made sure we felt completely comfortable.

One of the most magical moments was the surprise candlelight dinner on our veranda, organized by the entire team. It was such a thoughtful and truly unforgettable experience.

The food was outstanding – absolutely delicious every single time. There was always more than enough, but it was so good that we couldn’t stop ourselves from finishing everything.

The lodge itself is stunningly designed and full of atmosphere. Watching wildlife directly from the pool or our veranda, overlooking the waterhole, felt like a dream come true.

We honestly didn’t want to leave. The conversations, the warmth and the hospitality made us feel like part of the family.

We had an incredible stay at Lions Valley Lodge. Our lodges were absolutely stunning, with amazing views of a large lake right outside our lodges, where many varieties of animals frequented and hippos resided. The lodges totally exceeded my high expectations. All of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable experience. The food was absolutely delicious with different menus created daily even for breakfast! Nothing was too much trouble, from lighting our log burners before retiring each evening, chaperoning us to our lodges during dark hours and turning on our electric blankets during evening turn down. We experienced such a warm personal service throughout our entire stay from every member of staff and always a warm welcome when returning from our Safaris. Our safari coffee and drinks breaks were always held in beautiful locations and each day our very informative guide Ricardo would surpass the location the day before.
