Brandwag B&B — Hotel in Emthanjeni Local Municipality

In December 2019 my family (wife & 2 teenage sons) booked a one night stop-over at Brandwag, on our way down to CT. I was a bit apprehensive with it being a bit off the beaten track, and I wasn't sure how my family would receive a night out on a farm in the "middle-of-nowhere". To my delight, they were thrilled. Our hosts Anza & Pieter received us with open arms. We stayed in a very comfortable room called New Moments. The room was spotless, and the bedding was fresh. My family and I had a stay over on our way to JHB. We were greeted with the warmest welcome which set the tone for our entire stay. Peaceful farm, beautiful lawns, friendly dogs and their pups to my son's delight. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Everything was new and we very felt spoilt. The dinner at the main house made by Anza was delicious. All the weary travellers gathered over some drinks and a roaring fire and we began to swap stories and the long trip of the day was soon forgotten by all. We had a very warm wellcome on a short notice on Eastersunday from Anza and Pieter, the owners of the farm. Anza made us a traditionell sundaymeal (rys, vleis en aartappels). We had a good night sleep in highquality bed linen. The whole place was on high standard. In the morning we where dished up a breakfast I always dreamed of😋😀. The best part was that we took both meals with Anza and Pieter, which made us feel like part of their family. We highly recommend Brandwag farmstay for all who look for something special.
