Mohlaletse Guest House — Hotel in Fetakgomo Local Municipality

We had a very bad experience in this place with my colleagues. Firstly our first disappointment was to be told that dinner is served at 8:00 pm, but it arrived around 8:40 pm, it was cold, without any apologies. The girl at reception was so unfriendly, if you call and request anything she would only promise but never attend to your request or complain. Breakfast was a nightmare. We were told if you ask for oats you can’t have anything else. I couldn’t eat the oats I was served because it was so badly cooked. I desperately needed something else to eat so I had to ask how much does their breakfast cost. I was told it costs R150 so I asked if the oats they served me was worth R150 and I asked for the owner or the manager. I was told they are not there and they would not give me their number. Only then was I allowed to get bread with jam n margarine. The attitude of those people is terrible. Their customer service is stinking. They treated us as if we were beggars bothering them in their territory. There are a lot of issues I had with these people, it will take me the whole day to write them all. I wonder who owns this place. I will definitely ensure that I don’t find myself in this...

The rooms are very neat and tidy. Rooms have an aircon, tea/coffee station and good wifi connectivity. The whole place is very neat and tidy and looks appealing. I do feel it is a bit overpriced considering that there was no breakfast included in our rate. They do not have irons in the room but promised us an iron before we slept. The iron never came but came in the morning only for load shedding to hit 5 min after they brought it so we couldn’t use the iron. A real oasis or jewel in the proverbial desert. We were welcomed and hosted by Prudence and Lefentje for our two day, one night stay, at this relatively new guest house in the Sekhukhune area. The rooms were very modern, neat and comfortable, with TV, air conditioning and coffee making facilities. A well stocked bar and restaurant completed the package.

A swimming pool and outdoor braai area, currently under construction, will make this the place to be, to relax after a day exploring the area.
