Guest Rest — Hotel in Free State

Short version: Clean and basic. Longer version: (Some stuff of this version is just nitpicking) This place is just okay. It's not that bad for the price you pay, but could be better. The TV channels are limited to 9. It doesn't use DSTV, but rather a connection directly to the TV. In our room only 2 towels were provided (a 2 bed room), no hand soap, towels for the washing basin, etc. The room we stayed in had a big fan mounted to the wall, with 3 adjustable settings. It's great that they have fans, but it's so loud, you can't hear yourself or the TV. Towels and beds were mostly clean. They have enough parking space for a trailer as well. Our room also came with a kettle, 2 coffee mugs and 2 water glasses. I just wish they had coffee here as well. The rooms are so close together, you can hear what the people next to you are doing. When i arrive there, the place whas not ready yet . So the cleaners wait for the people to move out. I ask for a double bed . They happwn got; so the bring a single bed, from i dont ,kbow where, and put it next to another single bed, i whas standing outside while thw cleaners clean the room. Your shower door is broken . Your toilet lit is broken . The rail in the shower broken . No toilet paper , no towels, no soap nothing there . But a big noticed, on the toilet back seat, saying.....PLEASE DONT THROW YOUR CONDOMS OR YOUR PADS IN THE TOILET POT . So that alone , tell me, what is going on in that place . Its not for people to want to rest, after a long drive. I whas travelling from Cape town . Tired, so i see myself as i gonna rest . I book the day before . How can the cleaner say, there is not a room for me, therefore they put me in that snobbish spot . Never...
