We almost missed out on this incredible place due to the limited reviews, but we're so glad we took a chance. This farm stay turned out to be the highlight of our trip to South Africa. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special.

First, let me talk about the safety—it's top-notch. Parking is behind a secure gate, giving us peace of mind right from the start. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with charming thatch roofs and antique decorations that make you feel like you've stepped into a quaint little village. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered by the owner's wife, who has a true talent for decorating. Each room is not only spotlessly clean and well-stocked with everything you might need (extra blankets, hot water kettle, microwave, fridge), but also so beautifully appointed that you feel right at home.

The property is perfect for anyone who wants to take a leisurely walk or simply relax. There are lovely little nooks to sit in, and the adjoining sheep field adds to the serene atmosphere. You can tell this is a place that is deeply loved by the family who lives on-site. Their warmth and hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable—they were always available to share their knowledge of the area and were incredibly easy to communicate with.
