Elephant Rock Inn — Hotel in Gamagara Local Municipality

We got to the gate and the buzzer wasn’t working. We tried hooting nobody answered. We called nobody answered. Eventually a lady emerged and struggled to open the gate. We parked and she showed us the rooms. They were horrific. The room was dark, there was dust and the beds looked dirty. What’s worse is that there was a spider crawling around. There was an unpleasant odour. At that shocking stage we knew that we could not sleep there. We walked out and drove to Kuruman to look for a decent sleeping facility. The pictures on the net are deceiving as they are from 6 years ago and the place is in neglect and in a dilapidated state. They should bring the pictures down. It is inhabitable.
