I recently stayed at 1945 On Kloof Guesthouse for six nights. I had to make an urgent visit to Johannesburg from the UK as my brother is very unwell and it was a trip to say my farewells. I was looking for a place to stay with the personal touch as I did not really know how my visit would pan out, how I would feel and I did not know Johannesburg at all, so I really wanted to be able to ask questions and feel at home. Also it had to be near the Netcare Linksfield Hospital. Well I really fell on my feet. As soon as I emailed with my predicament Warren replied and said do not worry, all is in hand, just get yourself over here. Immediately I felt looked after and secure in the knowledge that I would be ok. Warren found out the hospital visiting hours and was accommodating with my dietry requirements. I cannot recommend the place more. It was clean, comfortable and in good condition. The food was great, the staff were lovely and so kind. Warren went out of his way to help in every way. I felt so at home but with special treatment (but I know Warren treats everyone this way). Thank you...
