We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Belvedere Estates while celebrating our wedding at The Forest Walk. From the very beginning of our booking process until the moment we checked out, everything was handled with the utmost care and attention to detail. Tracy truly went above and beyond—her professionalism, accommodating nature, and helpfulness made our stay exceptional.
The lodge itself was immaculate, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for us and our guests. The cleanliness of the rooms, the delicious breakfast offerings, and the comfort of the beds all contributed to a wonderful stay. Every aspect of the lodge seemed thoughtfully designed to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.
Belvedere Estates proved to be the perfect weekend getaway, not just for us, but for all our wedding guests. The location was ideal for those attending the nearby venue, and the warm, inviting environment added an extra layer of joy to our celebration.

Read moreIt is the hotel/guesthouse for oversees tourists who booked with Nomad a guided tour through Africa. I'm not sure if it is open for other guests except Nomad guests. We had a group dinner but the place was tiny and no real space on the long table to eat the food. The dining area appeared a bit cramped. People had to move and wiggle around to get up from the table. Otherwise it's a normal place, nothing special, clean and good maintained. People leave from there going on a truck holiday through southern Africa. Some routes are okay while others are not good organised. Trucks are not always clean and the drivers shouldn't drive and text. Some tourist guides need more education and organisations skills. Nomad has some great reviews but also some shocking reviews. Personally I wouldn't book my holiday with Nomads. I went on several tours and experienced some great moments but also some very, very disappointing and unacceptable moments. I wouldn't book my holiday with Nomad tours but the Belvedere hotel appeared good maintained. Has a small reception area, a tiny bar for the guests and as mentioned tourists start their journey from the Belvedere guesthouse so I'm not sure if it is open for the...
