Ecotel OR Tambo Airport — Hotel in Gauteng

This place does not deserve any star. What you see on internet is different to what you see in real live. The rooms are like someone's back yard rooms in an undeveloped town. The amount of dust that was under the bed was shocking. It was as if they never sweep under the beds. Unfortunately I only saw this in the morning when I was looking for my shoe which was pushed under the bed. The throw on the bed looked dirty, TV screen was blurry, you could hardly see anything on the screen, there was no TV remote, the feedback they gave was that they don't provide TV remotes to guests, shocking!!! To switch on and off the TV you had to plug it and unplug it from the wall. When I checked out I complained about the dust under the bed to the lady who was at the reception and she just said Ok with no sign that she was taking what I was...

Lovely service and stay. However, The EcoTel could use with softer beds, the mattress is uncomfortably hard. Secondly for guests staying in rooms facing the main road, such as room 19, something needs to be done about the gate. It disrupts sleeps as it frequently opens and closes to let guests in. There are smoother and less noisy motors that can be installed. Thirdly, guests arriving at night tend to sing in the passage, disrupting sleep. Perhaps signs can be put up to alert people of other guests. And lastly can the passge ligh be switched off once all guests have checked in?. Lovely stay, but sleep was distrupted by the above which defeats the whole purpose...

The services are only good if you stay for a short while.Placed a complaint about the sink, doors,charging port nothing was done about my complaint.l stayed there for more than 2 weeks and personally l didn’t like the stay especially for the fact that l was paying a lot of money.The wifi is very slow.Ecotel you need to improve.The tv’s poor quality ill.l was moved from a room l stayed for 12days just because there was an online reservation.I was dissatisfied l didn’t enjoy my stay from then.The fridge is charged if you want it .You pay for ironing .For 629 l paid daily no breakfast or laundry is...
