Horizon Savannah — Hotel in Gauteng

I made a booking early Mar with the establishment for Sep 2025 and paid a deposit via booking.com. Unfortunately i had to cancel the booking which was done the same month. According to the cancellation policy, I am entitled to a full refund which should have been processed direclty by the establishment. However this was not done. I contacted the establishment and spoke to the contacct person who reassured me that i will be refunded. Still nothing happened. Been trying to follow up via email and phoned the cell number provided. I still have not received my refund. What is worse, they are not answering my calls and i am not not getting any assistance...

What a pleasant experience. We were welcomed by Lynne (host and owner) and immediately felt at home. We booked the two-sleeper chalet. It is beautifully furnished, well equipped and private. The property is well maintained with an inviting swimming pool to cool off after a walk among the various plains game on the property. Lynne is a wonderful host and is always available should you need anything. She took us to see the four-sleeper unit, campsite and the amazing, newly completed tented camp. I can honestly recommend Horizon Savannah for your next break...

I loved my stay! The peace, the quiet and beauty of the bushveld is exactly what everyone needs. I stayed in the tents with our own standalone building with full kitchen and bathroom, dining table and lounge. It’s a great concept and I was very comfortable. We went for walks around the property, the animals are friendly and come for a bit of salad stuff, we did a game drive in the big 5 reserve which was reasonably priced and just a fun experience! I will be back and will definitely refer others to...
